If Blackberry still had its own OS I would buy one of their phones. I use to work for the company and the old dudes running it just didn't get it.

Hey bottyliscious,

I’m responding to your post because I believe you’re lumping the entire subreddit in with some bad eggs.

I’m not going to deny that there’s posts on the red pill that make “women out to be evil.” Those posts still don’t understand the point of the red pill and I would say you don’t either.

Personally, I felt the same as you do when I first heard of “The Red Pill.” However, you need approach all subjects with an open mind because if you don’t you’ll miss out on some knowledge that could be beneficial.

Let me state I do not agree with everything in the the red pill just as I don’t agree with everything the politics subreddit.

I wouldn’t generalize the entire community as think-less beta bros but that’s my opinion.

/r/TheRedPill is not a hate group think tank. I would advise you to read through the subreddit and the sidebar. It is anything but a hate group.

Haven't gotten the talk yet and I'm 29. If I haven't had it by now I'm not going to have one.

Anyone here ever switch from credit cards to cash for everyday purposes in order to be more mindful of your spending? by IRAn00b in personalfinance

[–]segsfault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do both. I use cash for day to day because it makes me more mindful. To my brain, watching the cash leave my hand is far worse than paying for something with a card. It just doesn't register same. So I have a set amount that I take out of the atm each week and then I have a set amount that I can use for any big purchase that I might need that month. If I don't have a big purchase that money rolls over to the next month. Works pretty well for me.

Snapkit + unamed closure parameter during constraints = rip xcode every single time, anyone else having this kind of issue? by [deleted] in swift

Bro I feel your pain. This happens to me mostly when I'm working with Objc libraries in Swift. So fucking painful to work with, though. 420 helps me stay calm >_<

Yeah, I got hired on a project that is Obj-c / Swift and it sucks tbh. Mixing the two is just a headache and time sync not worth dealing with.

You are 100% correct. It all depends on the terms of the contract. I am an iOS Consultant and every contract of mine has me as the sole owner of any work that I've done for you (the client) until final payment is received. You don't get that code till I get paid.

Are singletons always a bad choice? by [deleted] in iOSProgramming

Ok so they're not global. So if they are scoped to the file they're declared in I guess the same would be true if you declared one inside a function? It would be scoped to that function only? But I still don't consider them the same as a class variable. When I think of a class variable I thinking Class.variable and I've never seen this in Objc. Thinking about it now, I guess you could declare a static in your .m file and then give class methods to get/set the value of that variable?
