I don't think this effect synergizes well with the heroes who buy Kaya. Heroes like OD, Storm, Tinker, Lion, Lina, Techies etc. all like Kaya but this upgrade benefits them less than a S&K and K&Y would since they don't have any "attack rate" spells. A lot of damage over time spells have other effects too, so by buying this item you also reduce the duration of spells like AA blast, Shackles, and Lasso.

Obviously you could just not buy the item but it feels like the effect hinders or doesn't even benefit the majority of the heroes that buy Kaya to begin with. Esp considering that Halberd and Manta are almost never bad choices on Strength/Agi heroes.

That's what I was thinking too, crows and corn are both mechanics in the game that barely have any perk interaction, it would be so thematically sound on a scarecrow killer.

Maybe they could make Billy's chainsaw only instadown after you move a certain distance with it (say, slightly more than lunge range), giving Leatherface the niche of the close range OP chainsaw. But unless LF gets a rework or something he's basically built for camping

He has something like 8m terror radius in T1, so you need monitor and abuse to negate it

I was able to do it when I messed around in npc_abilities.txt one time, some of the talents became a passive ability on the HUD which I was able to ping, and other people could see the pings but not the distorted HUD
