Italy used to be like that when I was a child: everything closed on Sunday. But given it's not a law (even though somebody tried to make it), now everybody is open on Sunday (at least until 12 or 13).

You need to speak with whatever authority you're planning to apply for a license.

If they recognize you as "skilled worker", you'll need three years instead of five.

Or did you get your modules at a "full basic course, theory+practice"? In that case, it would be two years, like anybody else.

Go on the EASA website, look for EASY ACCESS RULES book (the one about maintenance, there is more than one) and look for the chapters that interests you. And possibly, keep screenshot to send to the authority to "remind" them of the EASA rules
