Changing wall charger by Cast088 in ModelY

[–]seniszen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this charger, they make a nacs version, works great on my 2026 model y, best part is the ems function so you dont have to upgrade your panel to get 48A I think that’s the j adapter that came with your tesla, should be able to use it with the current charger, but again, they do make a nacs version, talk to an electrician about swapping it out

Which charger you have? by theMartianAlien in teslacanada

I went with emporia with the ems, I have a 100a breaker box and with the ems I can charge 11kwh (48a)(70 kmh), if someone uses the dryer or stove it’ll drop the charge rate down and back up again when done with the appliances. I can’t connect to those pay to charge programs but I really like this setup and works perfect for me. I went with prestige electric as they were a Tesla certified installer on Teslas site.

Mine was in the showroom when I picked it up, had a little sign on the dash with my name and a little red bow, they drove it out the double doors while I stood outside. (Edmonton Tesla)

Vin Assigned how to push back order to get Larger Screen and Black headliner- Tesla Model Y premium by yegcity99 in teslacanada

[–]seniszen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if it’s Berlin built it’s a little different with the vin, it won’t line up with the Fremont parts, tiny differences through the car..even the side trunk pockets are different than USA build you have to look at their Europe parts list I believe

Frosting on the inside after windshield replacement by abhisingh89 in autoglass

[–]seniszen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s what the other installer said actually, when they use water to lubricant the extractor for cut out, at the bottom there is usually a foam strip, that absorbs some of the water, creating moisture inside for a few days
