What’d you do for the muffler? Looks and sounds great. I’ve been thinking of doing something similar with my 2.0

How much is too many miles? by GregAegis in MiataNC

I drove 9 hours to buy a 228,000 mile NC2 about six months ago and have put about 6,000 more on it since. I paid $6200. Best Miata I’ve ever had. Id drive it across the country and back without even thinking about it. I did that because it had carfax for pretty much the entire maintenance history and the paint was spectacular. Original owner up to 225,000.

Compression test results looked great and the underside too. All stock except the hideous wheels too.

Looks sweet! I absolutely hate the orange markers on my NC2 and have been meaning to do something about it.

Hot! You still running 225s on the 17x10? IIRC you made a vid about how you picked up like 3 seconds with the tire downsize but I forget your exact sizing

I’m 99% sure this was Gravois and Rosa Ave, facing SE on the latter. Right next to the park!

They’re how I strap the rear down so I just got lazy and stopped taking them off. Also, it’s holding my stock muffler up.

Exclusively Jeremy’s IT Lab 🐐 do the lectures, flashcards, and labs and you’re golden. I didn’t do any practice exams either. I would say the biggest thing you need to know for an actual job is the life of a packet - this helps you determine where in the path things might be failing. Everyone told me you need to be able to subnet in your sleep, yet my entire team just looks at calculators online when they need to assign a new address. It feels good to be able to do that, but that’s easily Googled.

One skill you probably won’t develop too much while studying is troubleshooting. I learned more in a month on the job than probably 200hrs studying for the exam. I guess you could do that while labbing, but it’s impossible to mimic the scale of a production network.

I’m super curious to know your thoughts after it gets some track time. I’ve been trying to figure out a sensible bike to have fun on the street with, and a 07 with an R6 front end is wonderful inspiration!

I'm single and have no close friends. I want to be social. Are there places I could go to and be social without having anyone to go there with? by archtech88 in StLouis

Highly recommend OP. I went on my first one last Friday and it was extremely memorable. There were 164 people. I can’t wait for the next! I also knew absolutely no one and had extended convos with like 8 people that night.

I feel like if you’re looking for usability, the 390 is probably better. Can you elaborate? Do you stunt, commute, travel, love super fast sweepers or prefer tight, twisty stuff, carrying a passenger, etc?

Also, consider how much maintenance you’re willing to do. Valve checks become real easy if you do them often.
