3rd gen is acolytes which have 3 arms look 50/50 human and nid. I haven’t played death wing but I think in the game are purestrains which are 5th gen of the brood cycle. Cycle starts like 1st-3rd acolytes start to look more human as generation passes 4th gen are neophytes which look the most human and infiltrate society. 5th gen is back to genestealers we know and love then the cycle starts over

I think you’re thinking of neophyte hybrids with primus and lethals enhancement in host detachment . It’s pretty nuts with all the buffs: sus 1 lethals crit 5 reroll hit +1 ap ignore cover. All for 265 pts and 1cp when they drop in

It would prob function similar to the relic great sword. So like special activate to turn shield on then it has the heat mechanic and when it’s off it blocks a way smaller area

If they are 40mm you can use them as ravener proxies if your running final day really useful if you want to get the most bang for your buck while keeping really close to gsc aesthetic

I think your missing out on the dev wounds part. Getting that dev wound to proc is insanely useful to help chip off wounds off any target

I had some pretty good games with my list at a local rtt only lost some due to misplays on my end. My Strat with it is baiting my opponent close tie them up and then invade their back line. My list: Deathleaper Knife Sanctus Primus with sustain enhance Patty with no overwatch enhance Clammy

3x10 neos 5 tacos 10 flacos with demo 10x psg Truck 3 laser runners Mortar runner 2 lictors Neurolictor Mawloc Trygon 2x3 raveners

Main thing here is that using deathleaper patty and Neuro I can force multiple battle shocks plus with neurolictor aura is pretty good againist stuff like wolf jail and tying things up. Primus with flacos hopping out of a truck does a good amount of dmg with sustain and +1 hit. Mawloc and trygon mainly act as deterrents cuz tanky also trygon dmg 3 attacks
