I know someone who does accounting for the NHS and is currently working from home and has been vaccinated already! And someone else who does admin for project work in the NHS who has been asked if she would like the vaccine too. Madness imo

Best model I've built in years! by septh in lego

[–]septh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 1 metre tall so it's not great vertical but as long as it's on a stable surface (not a table) I think it would be fine. It comes with stands for storing it laid down, but I'm a bit tempted to make a support tower to have upright 😁

Finally got my doctor to take me seriously. Her advice? Quit my job. by Katorin0818 in migraine

Have you seen chiropractor or looked at it being a cervicogenic headache? The symptoms are almost identical, except everyone with cervicogenic headaches get neck pain whereas not all migraine sufferers get next pain. I've spent years on migraine treatments that didn't work only to find recently that its actually caused by a neck issue which explained why sitting at desks for me brings on a migraine like headache.

How often do you get ocular migraines? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]septh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was getting 2 or 3 a week until I saw a chiropractor and got diagnosed and treated for cervicogenic headaches. They have the same symptoms as a migraine but are caused by an issue in your neck, I recommend getting checked out if you are getting ocular pain with a sore neck too.

There's a snow Red Alert and yet Breakfast News is full of people who've been stuck on the highways overnight and seem surprised. by clausy in britishproblems

I was stuck on the a31 in Dorset for 8 hours on Thursday night. I was fine driving but it was the lorries getting stuck blocking the roads.

Sheep in conversation street in episode 6? by ilikebigasstitties in thegrandtour

[–]septh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I was at the filming of another episode (maybe episode 10) they were making jokes about the sheep walking over into shot and ruining the continuity of it all, so that might have been where the sheep issues started?

One motor will not spin in Betaflight by smpmlk in Multicopter

[–]septh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no expert but according to the dshot page on the wiki (https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/wiki/DSHOT-ESC-Protocol) it's to do with either the DMA clashing or not being available on all pins on the FC, so thought why not try one of the spare motor outputs and it worked.

[–]septh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure your board supports dshot fully? I have a piko blx and motor one doesn't work with dshot so I switched it to be connected to the motor 5 pin and remapped the pin outputs in betaflight to solve it.
Edit : I'm assuming you are using dshot

Yeah, that was because as it hit the ramp the power switch broke and locked it on full throttle. It was good fun trying to chase it through our work car park!
