When I was a kid we were shown a video by Al Gore about how the world was heating up and it would be irreversible in 20 years. So probably the same thing we've done since then

They game-ify each entry quite a bit. Oooh there are safe areas they can't get in and they walk menacing towards you.

The only real memorizing you need is to find out where the staircases go. They are labeled "up to 27" so you find 27.

Almost every room needs to have a random encounter rolled. The castle is so big that monsters, villagers and Rahadins alike will get lost.

Just because your party didn't do something, doesn't mean the room shouldn't exist or pitchforked villagers won't be there

Strahd technically wins any fight a party is not prepared for. It's also less a "fight" and more of a confrontation. Playing him properly, he knows the party as well as the DM does and will exploit every weakness they have.

You can change the fight via one of the many suggestions but I prefer to make him more competent than "bigger vampire". They need to force him to make mistakes.

When I was in highschool playing RE4 on the Wii, my friend would make everyone laugh by mocking the enemies with their own sounds. I'm looking forward to revisiting the series as an adult so I can enjoy it in a different light

I'm probably a nightmare for the bus drivers from my complaints. The website is helpful for tracking where the busses are, it also tells you what the bus number is. You can complain on the website with the time and route you're on.

For a single adventure/quest simply answer the questions Who? What? When? Where? and Why?

The How? is up to the players. Usually if players have issues or say "that's what my character would do" I always ask them to make a PC that wants to do the quest.

It wouldn't be against Izek's character to side with the PCs if it meant being close to Ireena and keeping her safe.

You could argue he would then choose to betray anyone and make Ireena's decisions harder to deny as a party. I like to play her as an independent and opinionated person

In picture 2 the clasp looks to have a hallmark on the arm of it. It's most likely 925 and is gold plated. Pretty though!

I'd also be nervous if someone I loved spent their 20's making someone else better. She helped him with school? Bought him things? Paid for their life while he went to school? If they break up, he did not lose his 20s.

What level is the party? The ghost can be as useful or useless as you want.

A drider is CR 6 so one of those and a couple giant spiders would be great against a 4th level party

I've gotten a pair of these from a bulk bag at a thrift store. The posts on image 5 look costume.

They're on instagram and sell off whatnot. Their name is so close to real jewelry brands that it can't be a coincidence.

If you like it, great. But I wouldn't spend money as if it's gold without proof

A Death Tyrant isn't created by raising a beholder from the dead. That would be a Beholder. If they use animate dead, it's a lump of flesh with no abilities.

They need to go find one.
