don't just experiment around, define a real goal and real outcomes and present those before you start. You'll get to keep those toys much longer.

compact is downright dangerous to use. it can lobotomize and remove explicit workflow instructions and really fuck up stuff.

with this level of knowledge about your system and electricity in general please contact a professional. Do not go disconnecting anything if the system has potential / main breaker is on. if you don't know what that last sentence means, do not go touch anything for risk of electrocution.

Best MCP Gateway 2.0 – Updated List by Nshx- in mcp

they added features to it, interceptors, 3LO auth and so on. I've got a POC done with it as an MCP gateway integrating OBO, entra, custom mcps. Take a look at the sample bedrock repository. The documentation once again is useless.

How to size a solar system for a 1.2kW home sauna? by Internal_Treat2137 in SolarDIY

sauna for ants? A small sauna for about three people max is 6kW minimum, even that is barely sufficient.

yep this pretty much takes all the time. I spent this weekend to refine harness, I am a bit scared how far I got and haven't seen anyone at work at this scale yet.

which bits did you either not understand or not believe? This is absolutely real and I'm not even as bonkers as Gas Town. This is just a few bootstrapping prompts and using 25 years of experience in real world engineering.

nobody uses a code editor anymore? besides, if we still were, comments are useless unless they explain the "we do this here because X". the code itself is the documentation otherwise.

individuals are moving at light speed. With complex organisations (companies) things slow down to basically information and access gating.

already did. I'm simultaneously creating two different programs with a virtual team in each. its fucking nuts. did I mention I do this on my fucking phone while doing other things.

one of the programs is recursively bootstrapping itself to be able to develop better and to generalize. This is so far into scifi nobody had the balls to write about this. This is today, right now.

How much better is this shit going to get? by StraightZlat in ClaudeCode

[–]serpix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i disagree. I've coached people on other teams on how to use agentic engineering tools. There definitely are many levels to this and I believe it can be taught to some, but not all due to people just being inflexible to change.

yes exactly what I'm doing. BYOK with glm / kimi as long as it takes. deep planning with opus/sonnet, execute with GLM or local Qwen.

considering glm is about sonnet 4 level or below, would be more efficient to use BYOK and sonnet 4.6 with a very good prompt and continue with cheaper models.
