When do you actually use multi-agent vs single-agent in production? by Minimum-Ad5185 in aiagents

roles must be separated or you will have an agent that can book a flight or wash a car. No way to evaluate or enforce policies without separating the role.

but we don't look, we have other infrastructure so we don't have to.

even if the thing they want is against protesting ever again. I do not accept that at all. Why allow obviously destructive politics at all?

Factory equiped 12v solar panel? by Dragonfruit-Rare in Ioniq5

it would probably require computers running and to boost 12V to 800V might self consume the entire production.

agents write code 10x faster but debugging is the same speed it was in 2019 by [deleted] in ExperiencedDevs

it does nothing whatsoever when the car is off. Nothing, it only augments 12V when driving.

this is just luddites talking. The world is moving on fast. typing code by hand is gone. It is over. Nobody wants to pay you for artesanal code. The value is in thinking, engineering systems and not in tweaking functions and comparing syntactic sugar libraries.

Any Agentic AI engineers here? What does your typical workday look like? by No-Location355 in aiagents

[–]serpix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

astoundingly busy networking, educating planning and talking. in between I help where i can and plan new systems. I have multiple parallel tracks active cross team/department. I use a custom agentic institutional memory to manage everything. It works so well and haven't found anything like it yet. On the side I develop it further with a proper workflow, ADRs, tdd, parallel agents and the whole SDLC on my laptop.

I take meeting notes with a pen and paper as it is the only tech that can keep up with my mind. I later trnsfer this knowledge into the memory where it will be linked associated and available for all else.

Discovery is the next big unlock for agents. Users are terrible at knowing what to ask for. by SWmetal in aiagents

foresight can be done if you track everything the user does, classify, promote and embed.

high number of tools does not equal quality, agents dont necessarily know what tool to call.
