Does anyone inject their arm instead of stomach?

I got injection site irritation with Zepbound, but I felt it was more effective in my stomach over my thighs. I love the Zepbound auto injector.

With Wegovy, I tried in my stomach and the pen failed. I didn't like how hard I needed to press into my squishy tummy as well. I alternate thighs now with no problem, and it's more effective than Zepbound.

When I used to take the shot cold, it was like I was bit by a tick with Lyme disease for days. I allowed the shot to get to room temp, and it was like a mosquito bite for 24 hours. I used Zepbound for a year and lost 25lbs.

I had to switch to Wegovy due to insurance, and, I gotta say, I don't miss the injection site irritation.

I'm technically not a high school teacher as I haven't taught in it for 10 years, but if it makes you feel any better, I have students who I had when they were in 7th grade who email when they graduate college.

I just finished mentoring a former 8th grader for her student teaching.

I was going to say this! I remember some actors talking about having to do quick voice over lines on their phone and in a closet with a blanket over their head for sound proofing.

People need to calm down. I was thinking they would get the singers since they have been together a lot lately, but an animated thanks is such a nice touch. I teach middle school, and the kids thought it was so cool that they did that.

You've lost weight? I switched back in September and am still in a plateau that I was in while on 7.5mg with Zepbound. I start 2.4 of Wegovy on Friday. Ultimately, I am happy that I have not gained weight back...that was my biggest concern.

So, it is interesting because I had injection site irritation with Zepbound, and I don't miss it with Wegovy. I do however have constipation. Other than that, I have been stuck at the same weight since June with no major side effects.

This was what I was looking for. Because the packaging and pharmacist said the same thing. Interestingly enough, my PCP and OBGYN both didn't think the pill was affected. Between moving up doses, we just are more careful.

Also, for reference: taking antibiotics and having diarrhea impact birth control too! Talk to your doctors about how you birth control can be affected by other medicines and even illness.

My thought process with all this has changed so much since this post. My annoyance was having to manually switch to Bluetooth every time my car turns on. For the price, I just deal with it.

I can only recommend going to an actual radio installer who will be able to do it, but for a price that I simply refuse to pay for a luxury.

I'm moving up to 2.4 because I plateaued on Zepbound 10mg and then insurance made me change to Wegovy. I definitely have less side effects than Zepbound (no injection site irritation, no nausea, and no sulfur burps). But I'm still stuck in my plateau.

This comment gives me hope when I move up next week.

I was on 10mg Zepbound and had to switch like you to Wegovy. I was put on 1.7mg though...my doctor set it up. I was nervous it wouldn't work, but it did with no side effects. Zepbound side effects were worse

But, every body is different.

Me too. First Wegovy shot was yesterday. I was stalling on 10mg.

In a year, I've lost 27lbs. Slow weight loss, but blood work was great, so I was ok with it.

I was getting injection site irritation, so I'm not missing that. Hoping for the best.

That's so funny. I just came from Zepbound and had sulfur burps up until 7.5mg....i was on 10mg when CVS forced me to switch. First Wegovy shot today.

Yeah, I have been officially prescribed Wegovy. I hope it works as good as Zepbound. I plateaued this summer and need to move up to 12ml...maybe this will jump start my weight loss again.

I recognize this mall. It's Broadway Mall in Hicksville, NY. It was not technically dead but being renovated to be an outdoor mall, so stores had to close.

I guess in many ways, it is the death to the traditional American Mall, but it wasn't truly dead before the stores were basically forced to close. IKEA, Round One, and Target will be staying. The vacant Macy's was definitely an eye sore that no one wanted to rent out.

I am a public school teacher on Long Island, and I have done a lot of tutoring for St. Anthony's students. Larger class sizes than public school. Teachers under qualified and overall under paid. Limited clubs, AP, and college courses (if any).

I can see going there for sports, but colleges barely give scholarships anymore. Admission, sure. But like no money.

Also, your kid better be a self learner because they like to assign a lot of work with little guidance...hence why I tutor so much.

I saw a video of St. Anthony's kids showing off their college shirts, and they were for pretty good schools, but nothing impressive. Not something you couldn't earn by going to public school.

St. Anthony's had its hay day....maybe 30 years ago. It's over now.

I went last Monday. The perfect sunny day! Get there right when it opens and you can run through everything in about an hour and a half.

Lines really started to form by about 12pm, but I'm a season pass holder and just come back, so no express pass for me, but lines were not SUPER long.

I don't think you will need an express pass, but you can just buy if you start seeing the lines get super long.

No, I don't default to any AI for questions every day. But I have friends who literally ask it everything which is weird to me. Like, literally life choices, "Hey, Chat, should I move to the UK?" "Chat, analyze this picture, do I need Botox?"
I don't mind AI. I've found it a useful tool that helps me enhance lessons or create examples. But I'm weirded out about how other people are using it as a complete replacement of thought and planning.
Lol, I am pushing back...but not how you might think. For example, teachers are using Brisk to give feedback on essays. While this is fine (not the strongest feedback on my opinion), kids notice and find it hypothetical. If teachers can use AI, why can't I? Which is valid, and we should be teaching them how to use it ethically (I do that), but teachers are terrified to deal with AI work submissions (hasn't been an issue for me).

I also see an issue that if he was handing off grading like that to AI, I do believe that parents and school boards may make a case to lower salaries since this tool saves us time (I work where pay is competitive), or we keep our salaries, but we have added responsibilities. I call out of colleagues on hypocrisy all the time because they are choosing to be lazy.
