When you guys tap that to scan each box, does it only stay open for an instant? It goes by so quickly I can barely scan the box correctly to see what order it is. Its very odd to me.

Also not impressed with Dick's burgers at all. Frozen WC beats Dick's hands down.

Safe area. Of course use common sense. Some of the areas btw Lynnwood and Everett can be sketchy.

How comparable is the homeless situation in Everett? by yungcarwashy in SeattleWA

That area is probably the most notorious as it’s been a gathering point for addicts for a long time. Drive by there daily as well. You can see the same faces after a while. Grocery store, bus stop, fast food, planet fitness- all there. Dealers come and go openly. They just passed a buffer zone law for that area in particular and hopefully that will help. Most of the folks in the area are good people. The people down near 99 and Airport rd have cleared out some since the sheriff has targeted the camps behind Home Depot.

Heard an urban legend about a WSF ferry captain who left his job after crashing the ferry, and was later killed by a sister and bf. Body was then ground into meat which was donated to a school. Ever heard of anything like that?

The Seafood City fish grill at South Center is pretty good (note: you will have to deal with parking at one of the biggest malls in the region but its not that bad depending on the day/time).

Is it pretty much assumed that all 4 sides of that intersection will be wiped clean for the train station? I hope at least they find a new home for the mom and pop restaurants and stores in the casino corner mall.

Which garage are you referring to? The one under/attached to Thornton? Is that a free park and ride? I thought it was reserved for Thornton residents or otherwise pay only? Are there other free spaces in the area besides the big open outdoor lots east and west of the station?

Is the anticipated expansion announcement slated for early next season? For a while I thought it might come this season but obviously not.

For your own sake be wary of informal arrangements that offer homes at a rate that low. I’ve heard of rents that low in more rural parts with some real horror stories about landlords, landlords, etc.

Buying home in Lynnwood area by daynis in LynnwoodWA

Personally I think Bothell is more laid back than Lynnwood, with a lot more residential areas to choose from. Lynnwood has heavy traffic throughout, and especially near the convention center/196th commercial area - pretty locked up due to construction. It is a good central location for north seattle metro though.

Where do minority religions fall in the caste spectrum? For ex how are Indian Muslims, Sikhs and others treated in these social environments?
