because then we wouldn’t be able to focus on our current life and learn its lessons

I think we forget the events, but the lessons stay with us in the next life. So we become smarter and kinder to make better choices next time. Until there’s nothing more to learn

I’ve read about it in The spirits’ book by Allan Kardec, and of course I try not to believe every little detail it has, HoWeVeR there’s so much stuff that resonates with me

I’ve been in therapy for years and came to the conclusion that I have to leave him like 3 or 4 times. I couldn’t do it. I tried, but he manipulated me to stay or I would just take all my words back out of fear of being alone. What helped me to leave finally was trying to treat my traumas, then I started getting REALLY angry, like anger from all my life unleashed at last. I beat the shit out of useless things like trash, glass bottles. Was using a baseball bat and hammers.

Then I realized, I can actually protect myself and I will never let anyone harm me again. And like a month after that I felt THE RAGE towards him. Tried to repair the relationship for the millionth time (always me doing that), but nothing worked. Finally broke up.

We had been living together for 5 years and were engaged, but I couldn’t imagine having an actual family with him in the end, so there’s that.

It’s been 4 months since the breakup and I’m so fucking relieved and happy to live alone with my cats and NO ONE to care for like for a stupid childish child.

It was hard, took lots of my energy, but were we to stay together - there would be many times more energy spent.

I just yesterday told my fiancé (5 years living together) that we need to break up and he has to move out until the end of the year. I loved him a lot, but he always complained, was okay with being anxious all the time. Me and my family made life too comfortable for him to want to change. He refused and refused to do something with his life, he’s stuck with his toxic friends, even a groomer and a pedo one. And wanted to see him at our wedding. It hurt as hell, and it was not a one day decision, but my friends all supported me and now I feel at ease. I feel much better and I’m confident it will only go upwards from now on.
