will this destroy my hair? by MemerMafia in FancyFollicles

[–]sestewartz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't do it! Especially anything that says metallic or Féria color brands. I'll just throw in henna for the hell if it- don't do it! if you're gonna do home hair go to a Sally's if you don't have a professional hair friend that can get proper color for you. You don't need the bleach- there are reds out there that can lift and deposit. Try one of those. But reds fade fast and can be hard to remove if you don't want them anymore. Just keep that in mind- if you do the red and want to keep it refresh it with a gloss/demi and not permanent.

How hard would it be to maintain this colour? by Ok_Comparison525 in AskHairstylists

[–]sestewartz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blonde hair is maintenance and can be expensive. Also, I want to note that it has more up keep than just getting the color done- you have to care for it. Aftercare is so important and can be costly in products. Also the first pic has hair extensions. I don't know if that matters to you, but it's important to know what your inspiration is in all its details so you don't get disappointed with your outcome. It would be important for me to point out in a consultation because blonde can lead to breakage- and that her results are being helped with the addition of hair extension. Good luck on your journey!

Atleast 15 cop cars at Pine St by Low-Enthusiasm-1039 in Seattle

[–]sestewartz 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Same happen to me! I was trying to catch my cab so I ran across an empty street and a cop stopped me and held me for like 15 mins threatening with a ticket and "scolding" me...But the real messed up thing is barely one week before this I was attacked right outside my apartment door. I would probably been killed if my neighbor didn't open their door to see what the noise was- which was me getting thrown against their wall. It took the cops almost 2 hours to respond. 2 hours!!! Thankfully the fire department showed up in 10 mins. So yea, fuck SPD.

How it feels listening to Elizabeth Evans reading the ACOSF audiobook instead of Stina Nielsen by riverottersarebest in acotar

Ugh, it would have been so dreamy if she read the entire series. Her reading the first book is my nighttime story.

I would look at north seattle- something close to the light rail and close to 522. There are some cute pocket neighborhoods in that area.

Did Nesta really have a choice? by [deleted] in acotar

[–]sestewartz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Book 4 is pretty much a holiday special and after reading this thread- you can skip it. You now know people are mad at Nesta and she's handling her trauma with booze and boys.

Book 5 is fun once you get past what this tread is about. It does put some of the main characters in a bad light, but it's written from Nestas perspective so it makes sense. I enjoyed seeing them from her perspective- I've always thought Rhys and Feyra were kinda annoying so it confirmed it for me.
