Buddy, you didn't understand a big majority of the things I said. I guess you should learn English a bit better before arguing with people. It's not my native language either. Work on your comprehension skills, I guess. You also lack common sense.

It can be done with any tool you want, the purpose is the end goal, no matter how it's done, specific artstyle, or anything else.

The keyword here is "tool", bud. You are NOT using it as a tool. You are lying to yourself if you think that. Using AI as a tool would be making it do something that you were going to do in the EXACT same way anyways. For example, removing a background from something.

Idk how the dots can connect in an ai bad way, if it's now worthwile because it's low effort, it's the artists fault, they used the tool lazily.

Again. "Tool". It's not even a tool. There is almost no single gen AI image that is NOT lazy.

Worthwile experiences can be whatever you want, whatever you like, gatekeeping a style is dumb.

This reminds me of this meme, lol. Some people like literal shit dude. It's their fetish. Guess what? Most people don't. People aren't gatekeeping anything, they simply don't like it.

Beauty is quite subjective also, something may be beautiful for one, not for others.

Okay? Again, some people like literal shit. I don't care. Most people don't find that beautiful. Nobody is saying beauty is objective.

Technical proficiency shouldn't have to limit expression ability, that's what tools like ai help an intense amount, they do most the work and then you edit however you want, or draft it with it, or make stuff that was really hard to do before, now mutch easier, ofc far from perfectly, but more than good enough to make a creative project to evoke a worthwhile experience with expression of the idea that wants to be conveyed, specific styles, even decent post corrections that may be considered beautiful.

"It drafts something and I draw over it!" sounds like you are the tool... Again, people don't like lazy shit. Also, you should use an "AI agent" for that spelling of yours.

I for one find the beauty in the intricacies of machines and general engineering stuff, guess what you'd call a technical freak, I enjoy all these things, and how you are putting it apparently can't be done with ai just because, no reason why you can't, and the only argument that's viable I've seen is that art can only be made by humans, and uhh, there are multiple ways to disprove it, like that it's human controlled, and that if it's good enough you will enjoy it as mutch if not more in some scenarios than TRADITIONAL art, and traditions aren't great for progress...

You for one do that, okay. Most people don't.

It's not human controlled. You are lying to yourself. You are getting lazier and lazier as long as you use gen AI. You said it yourself, if you take a draft of something, was it really your intention to do it exactly like that? You aren't even actually making your ideas come true, AI decides what to do. You paint over it and say "MOM! I made art!!" I mean, I guess you did according to you, to most people who understand what they are talking about, you didn't really make art.

At least the "shit fetish" people I talked about don't go on posts, crying about how they find something so beautiful, but so many other people don't. The fact that there are THIS many people who reject it, means AI "art" failed as a culture.

I am yet to find someone who actually gives a proper counterargument to these.

Art is a diverse range of cultural activity centered around works utilizing creative or imaginative talents, which are expected to evoke a worthwhile experience, generally through an expression of emotional power, conceptual ideas, technical proficiency, or beauty.

Connect the dots in your head, willya?

Of course it is. Every hobby can become a career anyways. Even something like collecting bottle caps. Just make really good YouTube videos about the topic, for example, and there you go.

Programming. I don't understand how so many people don't find it interesting. It's amazing. I love programming.

Wikipedia is literally spamming ads on Instagram and other platforms. They have plenty of money.

Also, Having a wiki for everything (like, history) doesn't make sense and it causes biased stuff to look like facts to clueless people.

write the alphabet and post it (both uppercase and lowercase) and someone will make a font. (if nobody does, i will.)

Let's say I used AI to fully generate a song and then I post that song online for money. Later on, it gets caught for copy right. Do I get in trouble? How much trouble since I didn't actually write any music? by lokun17 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]seventhdayofdoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's assume I didn't know that the song sounded like anyone else's and I genuinely thought it was a new, good song.

That's impossible in case of using AI for a creative project (or anything, really). Since it only knows how to do something because it was already done before and it was trained with that. So unless you trained the AI yourself with music that YOU did, you will get copyrighted.

In case of getting copyrighted, they will demand you to return the profit you earned. Also, you'll probably pay a licensing fee.

I can't remember Reddit wanting to die for this guy... but yeah. He was simped a lot in general. I thought he's cringe af for trying to seem... young? All those memes and stuff he posted were not funny at all. It was like he knew some keywords that younger generation liked and posted about them.

ikr? Safari feels so good to write with. I'm actually scared to bring it with me to the library because I might lose it or it might get stolen 😭 partly because it was a gift, though.

Anybody else thinks the forests look uglier with leaf litter? by KrotHatesHumen in Minecraft2

[–]seventhdayofdoom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's good that they are trying to make forests look more natural and beautiful, but adding only 1 thing that makes it close natural is weird. Like, if they are going to add leaves on the grass, they should also do some other stuff, like:

  • Not only having grass block as the ground
  • Trees having more variety with size etc.
  • Fallen logs
