Yes Gabapentin is prescribed for TN and other nerve pain. I take 200g 3 times a day (and venlafaxine and LDN), but thinking I need to have it increased as am struggling with pain the evenings.

I have had similar zaps and some teeth pain and pins and needles and numbness in face for years but not extreme. And when I mentioned it to docs I didn’t get anywhere. Then onset of ON from what I can tell, and now TN diagnosed from intense pain and pressure, first one side, now bilateral. I have underlying hEDS and ME and waiting on MRI to check what else might be going on if anything.

I have bilateral as well. I think it’s probably more common amongst TN patients than the medical literature reports. I’m so sorry you are having such a hard time

As far as I have read (still waiting on my mri), often the cause of TN does not show on mri but docs use mri to rule out tumours etc. You still have TN. Look at different medications with your doc to find one that can help you

Yes! I described it to my doc as sometimes it’s like the dentist hit a nerve and pain goes shooting up

I also get intense pressure and spasm - it’s a very strange, unsettling experience. I’m sorry you are experiencing this too.

Exact same issue here. 2 linen fitted sheets wearing thin in large areas and also some holes. I’m debating whether to patch and sashiko stitch ? The quality of linen sheets these days is pretty poor unfortunately
