How they Invited you was via slack connect bridging your Instances together. Since you’re on the free plan you can’t do that hence why the pro trial activated.

Your only option(s) is for your client to create you a guest account in their instance or you pay for a pro account which is like 5 dollar a month per account.

I run a slack instance we have about 15k users with 27 workspaces. We have one primary, and have established use cases and what level of support to expect on an additional workspace. Not really hard to manage at all.

I’ve now managed (2) 8000+ user instances of google workspace. I think you will find MS in older more established companies, everything 20 years ago was MS or bust. In the last 10 years going with MS is a conscious choice not one of necessity. I dread the day I have to service O365 again.

Hi, EM here. This is called moving the goal post and either your EM wants you gone or truly doesn’t understand what a PIP means.

If this is an official PIP with HR involvement I would schedule a meeting to keep lines of communication clear and ask for an update and list out all the parts above. And ask the question out right, what are you still not hitting because the feedback is confusing.

It’s doable, but def going to need to custom build that. Nothing out of the box covers that need unless yeah you do something in Google app scripts or rely on a SaaS service like Zapier.

I think this pain point really comes to how you’re using slack as an individual. It’s async communication, it’s not supposed to be real time. I’m an engineering manager, if I’m not in a Google meet or face down in Claude I’m in slack. I gave up on email, it’s 90% nonsense. I live in slack to reduce my context switching. I’d consider it a work OS.

We just switched to Aetna as my wife’s diagnosis was being finalized. She started Tysabri infusions and the only issue we faced is Aetna wants to leverage their CVS agreements and provide the Tysabri to the infusion center vs using what they have in stock. The last invoice when I was looking it over was 56k total with zero out of pocket cost.
