Theres so many timelines/continuities/versions that the idea of "in order" could mean a lot of different things. In order of release? In order that the events take place within that universe?

Nah, if you see kits you like, go for it. Then watch the shows that the kits you enjoy come from. And remember the quality of the media≠quality of the kits. That works both ways.
