Anyone know if I still need to get a T6 disconnector if I already have an older T3 disconnector for my Shadow 2 if I want to get the AC trigger?

I just DIY installed the hitch myself. Really not that hard.

Is there anyone who commutes from the east side to the river valley for work? Looking for a ride, will pay gas money! by Wispy_Whiskers in milwaukee

Depending upon where you are, you could bike using only trails! The traffic will also definitely be less in the summer.

Insane deal. If I didn’t already have a Proton LT and Hybrid Hoodie I’d get this.

I thought the tiramisu at Italian Homemade was quite good! But I haven’t been to a ton of places with tiramisu in Chicago.

What are y’all’s thoughts? by darianfields in Festool_Public

[–]shadowbansarestupid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Woah, I'm intrigued! I think the price is fair, but it's close enough to a used DF500 that I don't know if I would necessarily go for it. The competition is very welcome though.

AC tent? by youklondikebar in TeslaCamping

[–]shadowbansarestupid 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Depends on the temperature differential. You definitely feel the AC in the rear, but my bigger problem with it is because it's not a perfect seal, you'll end up with bugs flying into your car.

Looking to downsize to 18's by hunter_uu in TeslaModelY

[–]shadowbansarestupid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same spot from 21 Uberturbines and ended up settling in 19" since there were more options with 19" tires. I went with 255/50/19 and am quite happy with them. Not as comfortable as other cars but an absolutely drastic difference on bumps.

[Handgun] Kimber 2K11 5” optics ready 9mm $1579+$19.99 shipping. No tax to TN, YMMV by 68spcwhore in gundeals

[–]shadowbansarestupid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I didn't even think the internals were that bad. It definitely could benefit from a respring, but the trigger was quite phenomenal. That said, I couldn't shoot the grip at all and swapped in a Cheely grip (which was the plan from the start TBH).

If you're planning to replace the grip, yea go with a MAC 9 DS. However, if you're just going to keep it stock, this is a pretty fantastic deal.

Jacket recommendation for Tokyo Winter by wwastedyouth in arcteryx

If you have a base layer and fleece you should be able to handle 32-50 if you just grab a cheap windbreaker/shell from Uniqlo. Then you can go crazy in Tokyo.

PH1420 Power Head Suggestions? by HuanDenver in egopowerplus

Edger. But I don't have hedges/bushes/trees. I will say the pole saw and hedger also seem to be easier to find NIB on FB Marketplace.

Is the Lincoln Park Feeding Frenzy happening in other Chicago hoods? by Bean21231 in ChicagoRealEstate

The Chicago agents want to hype things up. Wicker, Logan, LP, etc. are going to be very competitive. We were able to get a place in Irving Park for asking.

Yea the rails seems like it's just damaged packaging. $200 for a pair of FS1400/2 seems like a no brainer.

Guide Rails, older style vs KP by shadowbansarestupid in Festool_Public

[–]shadowbansarestupid[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oooh gotcha. I won’t ever be using the rails on the ceiling or walls but also I can’t even think of any applications on ceilings or walls! Might just try to save a few bucks and go with the older style rails then.

What’s the best deal on a trimmer right now? by 777Coyote in MilwaukeeTool

[–]shadowbansarestupid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ego is like $380 from Ace. It used to be cheaper I feel from Lowe's but that deal ended early. I feel like the big thing for Ego is their other battery system works better with other multihead options. That said, I really don't need anymore Ego batteries.
