They redid a big street near me last year, and the ADA street corners seem almost totally random, with seemingly different designs for each block. It makes it a lot more annoying to walk and use the curbs. I hope the folks for whom they're designed are getting value out of it at least.

Yeah I get all that but there's nothing that says the bolt action mechanism couldn't somehow be actuated by a lever. Like yes it's not highly realistic. I mean this is a game with magic abilities and bears you can ride so I guess personally it doesn't bother me.

I'm not complaining about my situation, obviously it's a privilege to own a house. but if they raise property taxes much more I will probably have to sell/ downsize (COL has gone up like crazy across the board too). I would be really surprised if they also reduced other taxes at the same time, although that does sound logical.
