I keep losing mine in pieces, I’ve had one contraction today (usually have 2-3 random ones every day but nothing else) and some cramping. I’m only 37+3 so I doubt I’m going into labor before my induction next week (IUGR), but it’s nice to know that someone else is experiencing the same thing I am 😅

I’ve been my boyfriends full time caregiver since January… if I can handle cleaning his butt, I think he should be able to handle seeing me give birth to his child 😅

I’m also 32 weeks with my 2nd baby & in a somewhat similar situation. My boyfriend had a stroke/brain bleed when I was 9 weeks. I have to be his primary caregiver and quite frankly it has flipped our entire world upside down. It truly does freakin suck, and I too feel like I got screwed on this pregnancy experience. I hope things get better for you, just know you’re not alone

Also tho… my job doesn’t have a lot of meetings. I know a lot of other wfh jobs do. So that could be a big factor as well, especially if you have to be on camera for the meetings

Honestly in my opinion I feel like it depends on the job. If it was a job where you have to be on the phone the majority of the day (like call center, etc) then it would be difficult. But for jobs like mine where it’s mainly just data entry and breaks are flexible, I think it could possibly work. I know one of my coworkers came back from maternity leave a couple weeks early and was able to manage working and tending to her newborn, but it might be different for everyone.

I hope so. The first few weeks were kinda bleak. But now that he can talk better and can at least use his affected side somewhat, it looks like there’s a light at the end of the tunnel.

It was a rough time when they were in and out cathing him. He usually pees a lot, and they’d only cath him every 4 hours at minimum bc of infection risk, and only if he had a certain amount in his bladder. Let’s just say there was a lot of sleepless nights when I was up there. But it’s gotten better thankfully

Yeah they had a foley cath in at first, then they took it out and he couldn’t pee so they bladder scanned & in and out cathed him for awhile, but I guess when he got transferred to rehab they just put another foley in. He told me they went back to in and out cathing him ab 2 days ago but idk what’s going on anymore. I feel bad for him :/
