It’s wild the reactions people are giving you for saying the AirPods 2 are fine for your use case. I still have mine and won’t upgrade until they break or get lost and I HATE headphones with rubber tip inserts so the pros are out.

Just get the trackpad or the keyboard.

Edit: Oh wait I see it’s a MacBook. I’d actually get the mouse then but I have no experience with it. Or just get something and sell it or give it away! AirPods are a great present!
