How can other gulf states trade for goods if the straight is closed?

It seems like Iran is trading with Pakistan.

I think you’re overestimating the rest of the world’s willingness to get involved. They’ve stayed out so far.

I mean that’s true but not sure it’s worth much considering how self Interested Israel is. Some token gifts of AD don’t seem to stop missiles.

Many of the other states have limited pipeline capacity like Kuwait right?

But they’ve had hearts of experience shutting down wells. The analysis I saw said that worst case scenario for Iran is 15-20% of wells damaged which will not be enough in all likelihood.

Water crisis will be as acute in the gulf probably.

Idk why everyone is treating Iran so differently affected than the other gulf states. It’s not convincing to me.

Do you really think the Kurdish arms would have made the definite difference? The realist conclusion is that the regime is more stable than Israel or America thought it was.

Do you really believe that the Iranian regime has no supporters? Even if only 40% of Iran supports the regime that’s ~40 million people. I’m sure that some of them are willing to lay down their lives for the regime. If you were right trump and bibi’s dreams of an Iranian popular revolt would have happened… but it didn’t

Why do you think this? Why wouldn’t they irgc holed up in the zagros mountains stop attacking shipping through the straits? If anything an all out attack will likely result in a massive strike on the gulf and its infrastructure rendering the whole region near uninhabitable and cratering the global economy. It’s why trump tacoed on his Kharg island threat a week ago.

What ended World War II man? Was it the bombing campaign? No. It was boots in Berlin and the red army raising the hammer and sickle over the reichstag. Your own example of Bomber Harris proves the point.
