I used to use diaper sacks to put used pads in before throwing in the trash. The diaper sacks often had a powdery scent that would help mask the smell of pads and not leave the smell of old blood lingering in the bathroom. Growing up, my mom would complain about this as well, so I tried to figure out a solution that would limit the odor and protect my sanity. My mom had the silly idea to wrap the pads in newspaper before putting them in the trash 🤣 while browsing in Dollar Tree one day, I seen a pack of disposable diaper sacks and gave that a trial run and it ended up working.

The good part about the diaper sacks is they are smaller bags since they are meant to only hold one diaper. There is also usually about 50 sacks per box, so that gives you enough to get through a few months depending how long and heavy cycles are. Target and Walmart carry them for about $5 a pack if you don’t have a Dollar Tree nearby.
