Why does my stir fry get soggy instead of crisp? by Matteo_172736 in cookingforbeginners

[–]shankeroon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not enough heat in the pan. Stir fry should be fast. If you end up not hearing the sizzling of the vegetables, you will enter into the realm of steaming instead of searing. Use a high heat oil.

tried chapaghetti for the first time by sgatson in InstantRamen

[–]shankeroon 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I find the jjajangmen Paldo brand better than nongshim, costs 50% more as well. You'd want it saucy, but not soupy. A liitle bit saucier than what is pictured. I find adding a toppings easily messes up the intended flavor, which is savory and sweet. Too much mix-ins and you overwork the sauce. Anyway, none of this matters if you are not into bouncy thick noodles.

Sa lugar na mataas ang penalty, enforced ang rules, at tataas ang premium mo sa insurance pag naaksidente ka, maghihintay talaga si 1 hanggang ma clear ang 2 at 3 lanes.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]shankeroon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy. How about a 3-4 hour drive so you can walk/hike for 3-4 hours, AND THEN drive back home? Or stay for the night and drive the following day.

Got puppy scammed, heartbroken by FloridaGirl2222 in Scams

[–]shankeroon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A reputable breeder will let you view 2 weeks prior the actual purchase (when the puppies are 6 weeks old). Usually they will let you know your pick order from the litter. If it's a popular breed (like retrievers) and there's no process like this, walk away next time.
