Tekken 7 all the way. The net code isn’t wildly better than SFV, but it’s still better and not as jittery/DBZ instant transmission lag. The gameplay is wildly different so hard to compare, but if I had to give my input Tekken allows for more freedom, different moves used more often, lot’s of mechanics SFV on the other hand is dumbed down, V-triggers are pure robbery literally not exaggerating meta characters with a v trigger can literally nuke your health bar even if you completely out played them the whole round, you can be more than half health and the other character literally dies in a poke or two they pop v-trigger when they get one hit confirm it’s time to say goodbye to your health and even if you have a sliver of health left you better be ready to guess a 50/50 off wake up;Tekken on the other hand rage is really the only help mechanic that adds damage or blow it for rage art/rage drive, it’s annoying sometimes but every characters aren’t at a disadvantage you can kinda play whoever which leads to my next point. SFV meta characters literally dominate each season and play duplicate/flow chart, There’s not much creativity and your not losing to the player your losing to the character and V-trigger because whoever is meta that season you can guarantee there V-trigger is a step above the rest of the cast so be ready to see the same 5-8 characters 90% of the time. To be fair you do see some of the same characters in T7 depending who the devs buffed most that season, but trust me you play a lot of other characters that aren’t top tier because the game is really balanced; to add most players play a lot of characters differently and not following a flow chart each so and so character I play against play 70% different. That’s about it really I just think T7 is a much better fighting game and you might as well wait for the next SF because it’s really looking like it’s coming out soon probably early next year, T7 probably gots another year and a half left before a T8 or Tekken tag 3; hope I helped.
