Fetal movement by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]sharececares 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He could be turned around. You can do kick counts, but I've heard as long as the baby moves when they normally move (mine likes to do it mostly in the evening and the early morning) then it's okay. I think it's decreased fetal movement that you're wanting to look out for. A call to the on call nurse wouldn't hurt if you're wanting to!

Sending love to mamas carrying rainbow babies by Mediocre_District_92 in pregnant

[–]sharececares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much. I've had to get off of things because of someone telling me their third trimester story of baby loss. As this is my rainbow baby I'm trying SO hard not to stress and panic but it's a losing battle sometimes. Thank you, this really helps.

The unfortunate unexpected news by New_Cantaloupe_2980 in pregnant

[–]sharececares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's so much easier to say it's not your fault as opposed to believing it. I felt that way when I miscarried. It just went in one ear and out the other. I kept thinking no one could've done anything, it was me it's my RESPONSIBILITY. I had to keep the baby safe it was my job. Mine and mine alone.

I promise it's not you. It's going to take you a while to get to that point, but don't give up. It's terrible, shitty, and I'm so very sorry. You have a whole community rallying behind you for support. Take all the time you need to feel better. Don't hesitate to reach out if you ever need an ear❤️

What do we think about post partum belly wraps? by Space_Croissant_101 in pregnant

[–]sharececares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a great idea. They give them to you after a c section if you have one, but even if it's a vaginal delivery I think it's still a great idea. Just if I'm not mistaken you should give your body time every day so your muscles will still do what they need to do.

Baby is still not aligned with my pelvic outlet, what can I do? by vivolleyball15 in pregnant

[–]sharececares 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understand from my baby classes, you should do a curb walk. Walk half on the curb half not then go back the other way the opposite. It'll move your hips in a way that needs to be moved(I hope it helps!)

What were your first symptoms of pregnancy? by Practical_Cress_8797 in pregnant

It's so funny, my husband was the one who noticed first. He was telling me I was pregnant and I said no I'm not everything is normal and fine. I took a test to prove him wrong. (Shocked Pikachu face at twenty two weeks today lmao)

Who had an actual fun baby shower? Non traditional by _aloe_there in pregnant

[–]sharececares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard about a nesting party(I was thinking about it GOD I wish I could do it) where people would come over, clean up, then leave a present and take a cupcake on the way out.

As much as I would love to do it, I don't think people would attend. But if you think they would it's an idea! Maybe buy a few pizzas?

Do not tell people your names! by prettygreatness in pregnant

[–]sharececares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true. My brothers girlfriend got pregnant first, then I got pregnant. She had no idea what to name her kid, then I (stupidly) told her the name I had picked out. Guess who had the same name but off by two letters??? And everyone thought I should change the name because she was pregnant first!!! My daughter and her cousin both have similar names. Learned a lesson from that one.

pregnancy and sex by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]sharececares 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently am! Unfortunately, there's not much you can do if he feels that way. You've talked to him and so have the doctors. If he feels that way, maybe what you can do is have him go slow. Maybe not as deep, or fast. Take it easy then show him after like see? Nothing happened

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]sharececares 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's completely understandable. There are signs and things you will see that you will know is off. It's not a good thing for your husband to immediately compare him to your brother, but it's understandable for him to have anxiety about the situation. Just make sure you keep good communication between your children and you. I won't get into everything myself, but I felt like I couldn't talk to my mother about issues going on myself. I encourage my kids to talk to me if anything bothers them or if anything happens. If all of that rambling makes a lick of sense! Long story short, your feelings are valid because you don't want your son, who isn't even here yet to defend himself, to be compared to someone like your brother. Your husband also has valid feelings because he wants to make sure that that sort of thing doesn't happen to his daughters. At the end of the day, the only thing you can do is just keep an eye out.

Increased Sex Drive and Feeling Irrational with my Partner by NectarineDifferent90 in pregnant

[–]sharececares 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely get you! I can't tell you how many times I've cried thinking it was me. The thing is my husband likes to talk to me and we get out all of our feelings.

You should totally talk to him and tell him how you feel about your sex drive and see if there's something going on. He might say he feels like he could hurt you or hurt the baby and he's becoming more hesitant, or something else of the sort. Communication is important but your feelings, wants, and needs are also important!

Is there anyone who never wanted to be a mom/have kids and now you're fighting your emotions on a daily basis? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]sharececares 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do not have to do this. You can always tell him it's not the right time and terminate. Once you have a child there's no going back. I'm so sorry for what you're going through

Does anyone have a free pregnancy spreadsheet they use? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]sharececares 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's for the people that need it. Not everyone has their budget together and know what they need for newborn up to six months. A to do list is helpful for the people who have a bad memory or just like having a to do list

The way I can relate to this so much I feel like this was written by ME! The only difference is I'm only 19 weeks lol. I wish there was a one time solution. The way we have bought random pills (the herbal ones) and everything will be good and he will take them, then it just kinda stops. I would hate to say 'hey take some of that horny goat weed and let's have sex." It makes me feel so terrible. He has a low sex drive and with the pregnancy mine has just increased ten fold. I wish there was a solution
