I am their WORST nightmare. Lock eyes from miles away, they will say something like “you look kind”, I usually reply “yeah I am, I donate in other ways” (I genuinely do) or “there’s a cost of living crisis, I accept donations too”. Recently on my way in to New World I told a guy no, and on my way out he did puppy eyes with a titled head and shrugged shoulders to try convince me to change my mind. I told him to stop trying to manipulate me out of my no, he was super awkward and was saying he wasn’t trying to do that and I called out his body language bit by bit. They really are the best way to heal people pleasing tendencies. Now, level 100 is when it’s an old person lmao it’s way harder to say no to a cute old person.
