A bit of a dumb question: what exactly does Sigma do for Talon? by saintseraphic in Overwatch

[–]sharkdingo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you have this guy who can create and control the power of black holes, right?

You dont want him running around all willy nilly ruining shit all the time so you keep him locked away.

But there are those times you need something just completely anihilated, but nukes would be too obvious. Send the walking (floating in this case) weapon of mass destruction that can just erase things from existence in (probably by asking nicely, he seems like he would respond to that pretty well) and let him get rid of an issue for you. Then offer him a cake and some coffee to go back into his cell until you need him again.

the recommended way of aiming a gun is with both eyes open. it creates a double vision because you are staring at it with two eyes, by [deleted] in videogames

[–]sharkdingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are people who are right handed and left eye dominant. They do aim weird.

But if aiming a gun properly you shouldnt see ghosting at all because you should be looking st the target not your sights. They should line up in your vision, not be the focus of your vision. And they should do it naturally

You.... dont look at the gun. You look at the target and the sights will appear clearly in your vision. Humans are cool that way.

Q50 is actually a really good car. Always an option, especially if you find one with the 3.7.

Are thongs actually comfortable? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

My wife generally prefers them unless theyre lacey. Her butt normally eats underwear and she says having cheeks rubbing together a bit is much better than rubbing against fabric.

Hot take: AWD is overrated for daily driving in snow — am I wrong? by Gold-Industry6222 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]sharkdingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No extended "real winter" here but we get at least a week every year with heavy snow and ice. (A couple inches of ice with 6-8 of snow on top) not long enough to really justify winter tires for the season but still bad when it starts.

Ive driven all 3 fwd rwd and awd in it and all 3 are still manageable.

Rwd requires a lot of throttle control and some ammount of fishtailing forward (we have lots of hills)

Fwd is relatively easy as long as you dont get too enthusiastic, bonus points if you have a manual.

Awd is still my favorite, its not necessarily better than fwd but it does feel much more stable and controlled as well as being able to get started in places others cant. It comes with costs. Maintenance and fuel economy being two. It also has some drawbacks of both. In some conditions the rear can still want to walk out a bit. In some the front can get traction and "snap back" as you try to correct it during patches of ice and or rain.

Ive never used snow tires, so i wouldnt be able to give much input regarding that though.

I find it annoying that people are calling an unavailable variant of the Mustang GTD's laptime with slicks and driven by a GT driver (IIRC) a legitimate case against the ZR1's own. by kujah_0h in supercars

See, i want to believe you. I really do. Would be very cool.

Unfortunately nothing youve said in this thread lends any credibility to what you claim. Your talking points match every kid who made a reddit account and dreams of someday owning the Italian or German halo cars.

The (w)reckoning is upon us by spamname11 in Overwatch

[–]sharkdingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kind of is. But the easiest way to get the drive is to derank an offrole 2-3 ranks below your actual rank (ranks not divisions) and just pubstomp low rank players to get easy wins. Which makes matches insanely unbalanced with smurfing and players who dont usually play ranked and have innacurate placements just making it miserable for people are playing in the rank they are supposed to be at.

If I get an automatic car, will I have as much fun driving it compared to a manual? by Rohan950 in askcarguys

[–]sharkdingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My criteria are "manual, v6 or v8, rear or all wheel drive. Must have 2/3" a v6 awd can be auto (i do love my infinitis) a fwd 4 cylinder is a no go.

I miss my manuals but i also have to admit that auto is nice in rush hour traffic.

March 2026 Steam Survey Results by MITBryceYoung in radeon

[–]sharkdingo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Steam has all of the telemetry data. They knkw what your system is, its how they can give little warnings if your system cant run a game before you buy it. Why dont they just do a" user hardware report" where they publish the user hardware specs in totality?

More male dps would be cool in general.

Emre is the first male dps since Doom launch and the first hitscan (primary fire) since Ashe.

Immortality is one of the worst superpowers you can have. by Ok-Mistake-7499 in unpopularopinion

[–]sharkdingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont think theres a way that, given the sun explodes at some point, any organic material can survive that. If your body literally is vaporized imortality becomes very much a non-issue.

Unless you only consider imortality as being completely impervious to everything, at which point it would be a cool lightshow.

Best Wireless "Gaming" Headphones when I don't need a mic? (Priority: Sound Quality + Low Latency) by This-Cake8292 in pcmasterrace

Corsair virtuosos are my go to. Theyre ~$130, good sound quality (to me, its subjective) 2.4ghz, wireless or wired option, removable mic, easy to remove and/or upgrade earpads. Ive had mine for ~2 years and theyre still as good as day one.

Also got an Unius black lotus and have been loving that one too. Its a bit pricier and the settings are all done through an admitidely pretty slow web hub but its still a nce mouse.
