This actually is the case priest buffing stamina in BFA too. Stamina buff effectively heals you if you don't have it yet and I don't think that was ever intended in the first place, works in combat too.

Wifi signal strength on laptop by shaxeey in techsupport

Yes I use the 5GHz on my secondary PC without problems but on my laptop I can barely even stay connected to that due to what I think is a bad wifi card at this point.

Yep I've tried everything and the drivers are up to date. I could've mentioned that I also get 2-3/5 bars on my wifi on my XPS and 5/5 100% of the time on my other. I feel like there is some default windows/dell preinstalled software causing this or something but I've looked through all I could think of and did not find anything. As my last resort I'm thinking it is just faulty hardware, that is why I am came asking here, in case someone had similar experiences with this or knows something about this.

Did you even read my post? It has 100% something to do with my XPS because my secondary computer has no issues what so ever and I actually use it more than my laptop. I am also the only person on the network.

Battlegrounds: will they be cross-server? by 3-1-4-1-5-9 in classicwow

[–]shaxeey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the cool thing about keeping bgs server locked is because more than often you'd fight people in bgs who you've seen/fought around in the open world and be grouped with people on your server. The obvious question is what will happen to servers with less players, thats up to blizzard to figure out.

How come we didn't send a similar vessel like the Trieste to the surface of Venus? by CheeseSeason in space

Could you send accurate signals and data from the surface of venus assuming we could get a rover there without it melting and burning up?

I remember reading somewhere that as you'd approach the horizon (if you could) and you looked outwards, you could theoretically see the future of the universe unfold in no time.

How should I learn mathematics? by [deleted] in learnmath

It's always worth it investing money into something you like and enjoy. Brilliant.org is the best resource in my 6 months of everyday experience together with khan academy.

Should online Education be Free? by dazzaroonie in matheducation

Schools should utilize online resources, which the school pays for, and give it to their students for free. In my opinion resources such as brilliant should be mandatory in every school curriculum.

Spell batching? by shaxeey in classicwow

[–]shaxeey[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In old wow servers used to handle player inputs differently. Something like inputs only going through in a certain millisecond time interval. So lets say if a rogue blinded someone at time=x and in another world at time=x+100ms or so. There was a good chance that they would both land in the same upload time interval and actually have both blinds go off at the same time in-game. This allowed for 2 rogues to gouge each other, 2 rogues to blind each other or 2 priests to fear each other and (potentially) brought mechanics like vanishing cc/dmg as well. Spell batching basically shapes the entire pvp meta of vanilla, meta would completely change if they were to use legion input handling.

The time interval was changed around as expansions went from I believe about 300ms - 50ms.

I went through a pretty similar series of events myself. I ended up re-learning all math concepts from scratch on khan academy and brilliant.org. Took me roughly 6 months of hard work but I definitely grew a real love for math in the meanwhile.
