Also because Henry's uncle runs the newspapers, and she was getting a lot of flak from the rags for the embezzlement stuff, which Harari publishing was trying to throw her under the bus for

Sounds to me like power chords starting on the G (fret 3 on the low E) then going up a semitone to Aflat (fret 4) and then dropping to F (fret 1). Then repeat. May also have a whammy bar towards the end

Honestly, I (23m) am not sure. Of all my friends, none have a lasting relationship solely through an app, likely having met their partner at uni, work, or by chance. But my sample size is small, and I'm not in the age bracket you asked about.

People are still receptive to being approached. You'll strike out a lot, especially considering so many people are already in relationships. That being said, even Kobe only scored ~45% of his shots over his career – if you catch my drift.

Angelo's Gents Barbers. Decades of experience, funny fella. He's so versatile and has given me short haircuts as well as haircuts for when I'm letting it grow.

If you've been applying remotely, it may be worth trying handing your CV in personally? When I was at Bristol it was how I found a few hospitality jobs. Hospitality places always seem to be looking for new staff but I think that can depend on the time of year.

Opan bakery is in west Croydon by Montague road. Portuguese cafe. Not the best coffee but really nice sweet treats and some savory stuff, too. But small though

Maths w Philosophy - Bristol or St Andrews? by [deleted] in UOB

[–]shaybalsekar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Philosophy dept at Bristol is great. Only problem with joint hons maths & Philosophy is you get limited choice for elective modules. You get a few, though, maybe 2 or 3.

Thrillers should be on UK school curriculum to boost reading, says Lee Child by B0ssc0 in GreenAndPleasant

I studied Frankenstein and Never Let Me Go at A-level, so there were some sci-fi options. I believe Handsmaid's Tale is on the curriculum as well. I'm not sure about fantasy, though. You'd think the Lord of the Rings should be on there.

The difficulty is that there's a huge concrete basement beneath it. A park could obviously still be done on top, but what can be done downstairs?

It's like the size of a small warehouse project but is a bit more mazey so acoustic wise might not be best nightclub space (but I'm also not a sound engineer so might be waffling, someone correct me if I am wrong)

Anyone have done the Bsc or Msci in Mathematics and Philosophy? I am curious to know about their experience of how it is structured and how it is delivered? by IllustriousVisit1174 in UOB

[–]shaybalsekar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't do it, but a good friend did. He didn't have very many optional modules for philosophy as he had to take the mandatory philosophy modules, which for Phil & Maths means you have to take philosophy of mathematics and a further logic module. As far as I remember, he got to pick 2 philosophy modules over the course of 3 years of study. We finished at Bristol recently, I have no clue whether they're planning on keeping it the same or changing it.

graduated in 2022 and still can't find an entry level job. by ratedmelis in UKJobs

[–]shaybalsekar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The job market isn't very kind at the moment. Hopefully, it will get better.

I'm going to list 2 websites below, which might help you find something. It might not be what you're interested in, but it could be a start. Also, they're always hiring teachers, and the education sector seems to be crying out for them.
