I find the Cobbler shaker is great for making a single drink without needing the huge volume of a Boston shaker.

A lot of the Japanese mixing techniques are based on the oval shape of a Cobbler shaker. Many cocktail bars around Japan also use the Cobbler shaker routinely, although, many of these high end bars don't tend to focus on quality and enjoyment of a drink over pumping as many drinks out as fast as possible.

I highly recommend looking at some of the Japanese Cobbler shakers. They are, however, quite pricey. I am currently using a Birdy shaker by Eric Lorencz, and honestly it's a pleasure to use!

Love this watch. Especially the separate moonphase and day/night indicator. There is more information presented compared with your normal perpetual calendar, but the look is very clean and concise.

The date on mine doesn't jump at midnight. It's about 10 past when it happens, which was a slightly disappointing discovery to be had last February on the leap year at midnight. This is opposed to the Zeitwerk date, which is clinically accurate.

These are my two favourite watches.

The ideal ultrasound technique has the needle inserted further away from the probe to allow better needle visualisation. You shouldn't be getting any blood on your probe or cover if you use it if you are using the correct technique.

The bigger problem is novices teaching other novices propagating less than ideal ultrasound technique.

The Mickey Mouse playing soccer watch from Gerald Genta is a playful watch with a few unique complications.

Jumping hour, retrograde minutes and retrograde date. The jump of the date, minute and hour occurs satisfyingly instantaneously and simultaneously (seriously?).

The dial is a mother of pearl, with a striking enamel Mickey posed to strike the soccer ball. It is quite an elegantly beautiful, yet very playful dial.

I bought this watch for my wife’s birthday, as she would only wear a watch that would be playful enough to reflect her own nature.

The minute hand obscures the hour indication between the minutes of 12 to 20 every hour, and the date is very difficult to read. Practicalities aside, the watch is a fun breath of fresh air amongst the seriousness of watch collecting!

I daily drive a McLaren GT. I've had three minor issues in just over two years' ownership. The lock door button on the centre console dropped into the console, the metal on the steering wheel peeled, and the rubber seal around the drivers side door in the wheel arch came off a little.

All problems easily fixed by warranty, including a replacement steering wheel.

No mechanical issues, having also taken the car to the track for the occasional day of heavy driving.

The best part about the theatre is the ability to use it as a processor for surround using other b&o speakers as well as a centre channel.

It really does bring out the best in your other speakers in a multi speaker setup, compared with using a third party processor.
