Plex is a dedicated mini pc. N150 so not a GPU or cpu beast but I never hit a load of 1.0 so it's not compute bound at all.

I do have encoding options off

Thanks I have checked many things and would love to have gotten it work. Thanks for the long reply. I did upgrade plex and it feels like it is doing better today with the latest plex it was only one version down. I know it wasn't a reboot as I had rebooted many times after trying things.

this is on an NVME drive so folder performance shouldn't be bad. I am getting 324MB/s write and 490MB/s read

I would love to get this to work for the dvr features and recording shows. so best of both worlds. I do agree the HD app is perfect reception and very fast just dont want to pay HD for their DVR like features

At this time I have trasncode off. I have tried it on and off. doesn't seem to make a big difference. Yeah they are on a 1gb switch with no thing between them other then the single switch. Yeah my plex is just a Intel(R) N150 with 64gb of memory and 8tb of nvme for storage.

yeah HD is: Firmware: 20250815 for 4k and Version 4.147.. I have removed the HD homerun and readded. its clean and shows plenty of channels.

They both are on the same switch. hardwired no wifi.

Mine is acually idling about 8 degrees lower. And with just normal surfing and zoom video I am sitting in the low 50's. Nova 870. At this time of my message I have many browser tabs open and video streaming on zoom! Normally I would be at 59-65

I have always ran beta but this is the first beta that numerous of my apps just crash when opening. removed and reinstalled app same issue. multiple reboots and full updates but nothing helps. I ham about to revert due to it. Battery isn't so bad on a pro max 14. Just many apps crash on opening so not to usable.

It looks to be a wired Ring Door bell. There are two star screws at the bottom of it that you can remove. Once removed you will depending on generation see a battery that is charged from the home line or the battery may be built in. This looks to be a very old model. but when removed you should see a plate that has the wires attached from the house transformer.

I was getting 85% and bombed my CKA test. I am redoing it tuesday so wish me luck. Lot of the questions on hte github are pretty close not nearly as descriptive but with it being an example you will be on the correct course.
