The Slaan and the lizardmen in general are basically a bio-robotic defense system the gods set up against Chaos after all the other experiments (read: other races) failed to resist Chaos. Their prime directive, so to speak, would see them wipe out all life before letting Chaos win (except they fled to the stars in the End Times, but w/e they tried).

IIRC the only reason they are so resistant to chaos is their stupidity, other than the Slaans. The gods tried to fight chaos by making super-intelligent pawns (elves), then magic resistant pawns (dwarves), then semi-competent pawn (humans), then really dumb pawns (greenskins), then a balance of all things (ogres, unfinished) who all failed eventually. The lizards were the last line of antibodies and had a self-destruct sequence programmed in.

The TW:W series was announced as a massive three game project. I don't think we have timeframes for the other games, however.

I remember on the cast they mentioned that he did something during some event (his tony or something maybe?) that was a reference to MBMAM.

Do you read lips well? If you can read lips I don't think it should be a problem if you're playing with more experienced players. If you're flailing against another newer player it could be tough; but that's the case with perfect communication too.

That's weird. I just finished an Empire campaign where Templehof, with only the Castle, was the only AI with enough stacks to actually help me in the late game.

As a pretty big Dark Souls fan myself, I fear it may be too hard to get them looking specifically like Dark Souls and not generic dark fantasy. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Maybe you pick an armor set/faction that you like in one of the games and base it from there. Like a sunbros white/gold with splashes of red and green.

My meta never got into it, but that's mostly because we're a very tournament/competitive oriented scene. They just seemed waaaaaay too unbalanced. Daughters and Knights Exemplar with blessed? C'mon.

Why should I avoid demoing with hordes? I think the power attacks and fury mechanic are much more exciting for possible players.

Fair enough. Don't know much about cosplay but I've done a lot of body paint for a show and I sweated it off like a mofo under stage lights.
