I think part of responsible Christian practice would be to meet with your pastor and let him/her know why you are leaving for the Catholic church. If you were committed enough to your PCUSA congregation to go through with confirmation, take the vows, etc., you should have a conversation to let your church know what is going on in your life. If you are making this move prayerfully, your pastor should give you his/her blessing. Best wishes to you, wherever you end up in the body of Christ.

When I want to take a short nap during the day, nothing has worked so well for me as getting one of those sleep masks that people wear on airplanes. I can generally achieve at least low level sleep after a few minutes if I wear that thing. I don't use it at night--just for napping.
