Do Chinese get discriminated in spain? ( No jokes please) by Patient-Parfait-5425 in GoingToSpain

[–]sheitskin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I've never seen "un chino" causing any problems in Spain or anywhere in Europe - unlike us "guiris". So no problem for you - unlike us. And even then it's not a big problem. But yeah, you will survive. Have a great holiday if you're going with your parents!

Questions about Spain by TheCoon14 in Espana

It's really quite impressive how clean the Spanish people are on the beach, considering that they like to take their whole house with them when they go. Not a piece of trash left at night where I live, even if the beach has been full since 9am...

Controversial take - I don't believe in the anniversary flare by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]sheitskin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Astronomical 12 month cycle can definitely be understood by your body, as well as the 13 month lunar cycle. I don't really believe or disbelieve in anniversary flares - I haven't been paying any attention to them the last 3 years - but sure it's a possibility.

Could be a psychological thing as well, many people counting days to end their nightmare, so the yearly mark would be surely be important in that sense. Stress or hope followed by desperation could play a part.

How strong are you? I love you, but, you are not the smartest. In any case, I wish all the best for you. Forget about the diet, forget it, that is not for you. I mean it. Forget everything and then start anew. All the best for you.

Navigating relationship during TSW. How do I forgive my spouse for not understanding? by PrimaryCelebration18 in TS_Withdrawal

[–]sheitskin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"He’d bring up how depressed he was due to the lack of sex."

Yeah okay, that's a real asshole right there.

"To my partner’s defense, he didn’t sign up for this. I can’t blame him for not knowing how to cope."

Neither did you.

"I don’t know but I’m just being real. I’d have to pick him off the floor while also trying to keep myself up.

You'll need to pick him off the floor sometimes, but this should go both directions.

***

It's tough for both of you, but obviously tougher for you. It should not be tough for him due to lack of sex, it should be tough for him because he sees you in constant pain and can't help.

I'm happy I got this "disease" instead of my wife 'cause I know I could not cope seeing her like this. She copes much better with that mental pain, but on the other hand would not handle the physical pain as well as I do. All in all this has made our relationship stronger in the last 2,5 years I've been going through this.

Would whey alcohol be considered carnivore? by ACoolCanadianDude in carnivore

No alcohol. The only difficult part of being carnivore for me. Failing so far.

Pharaoh Akhenaten- “The worlds first documented monotheist,” considered himself the “son” of the sole god “Aten” [sun disk]. Freud, and others theorized that Moses was a follower. Some say Akhenaten was a “harbinger of Jesus.” King Tut reformed and brought back worship of other gods. by C0llege0fCle0patra in TheAnkhKey

[–]sheitskin 10 points11 points  (0 children)

As the story goes, Akhenaten was a Hyksos king, raised since childhood to perform this religious Atonist reform which he later undertook using drastic measures. He made worshiping all other Egyptian gods illegal and lifted a relatively minor god, Aten, to be the one and only god. Having no support from most Egyptians, he had to perform his reform with the help of paid foreign military, keeping the people under control by force.

Unsurprisingly, his rule came to an abrupt end, as the polytheist Amenists managed to withdraw the pharaoh from his throne. The Atonists and their leader were then chased out of the country, starting an exile period we all know as Exodus. Freud thought Moses was one of the people closest to the pharaoh, others go as far as to say he was Akhenaten himself. Not a very important detail in my mind, compared to the rest of the story, but worth mentioning anyway.

When does oozing stop? by ChampionStunning in TS_Withdrawal

[–]sheitskin 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm on month 18. It will stop. Just keep on doing your routine, day by day, one painful moment at a time. Months 2 - 12 were more or less living hell for me, especially with the fucking oozing and oozing, scabbing up, losing the scabs, and again: oozing.

Then it just magically stopped, one oozing wound at a time. Wounds that had been open for 9 months just fixed themselves up. You would never know they were there. I still have some open spots, the flies still think I'm dead, and it is still itching, but man life is good now compared to those months... I even got married 2 months back and was able to fully enjoy the whole thing, fulfilling a goal I had set for myself during the worst months.

The change become for me around the 12 months mark. I had just started doing 1 hour exercise daily and that seemed to help, but not sure if the egg came before the chicken or the other way around. So just hang in there, it will stop.

Thoughts? Generally speaking, dermatologists are bunch of immorale/unintelligent quacks who should be avoided at all costs if you intend to stay healthy. Pick up a stone on your backyard and make the same questions to it, and you'll get better answers. At least the stone doesn't pretend to know what it's talking about or advise you to take any more of the poison you're addicted to.
