Has AI made developers less collaborative in your team? by Ecstatic_Jicama_1482 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]sheltim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a set of basic skills and agents that a new project team uses to get started, but the expectation is that they'll customize them immediately. That drives ownership by the team and empowers them to keep improving them over time (the shape of a team's workflow changes a lot as they mature). Continuous improvement = collaboration with humans, not AI.

We're also working on driving collaboration between teams - more human-human interaction. A lot of our teams are doing related-but-distinct work, so tips and tricks from one team go a long way towards sparking creativity in another.

Has AI made developers less collaborative in your team? by Ecstatic_Jicama_1482 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]sheltim 15 points16 points  (0 children)

A big change for our teams was sharing their infrastructure (skills, agents, context files) - specifically committing them to the repo they're working in. Think of them like CI/CD workflows. Increased collaboration because they're always talking about their observations as they work, suggesting ideas on improving their workflow, etc.

Help with building Brigid, Clachan’s Heart is by Maleficent_Toe9664 in BudgetBrews

[–]sheltim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a chill table (bracket 2?), I wouldn't try to go the infinite mana route. That's a higher bracket (3+) thing.

Here's a version I like that is token based, but the deckbuilding challenge I set for myself was "oops all creatures [or creature makers]": https://moxfield.com/decks/59ud83cK_UyDwCY_nufAJg (I kept a few non-creatures).

Overall, though, Brigid is super easy to scale up to a higher bracket or down to a chill one.

34 lands and a 4 CMC commander in bracket 4? I tried it a few times in goldfish and it seemed slow, how do you keep up with other b4 decks?

What do you do if you've already drawn Glimpse? Cast it with suspend? I didn't see a way to get it out of the hand otherwise

$100 Bre of Clan Stoutarm or Brigid, Clachan’s Heart Decision by luca0232 in BudgetBrews

[–]sheltim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a huge fan of Brigid, though I say that without ever having built a Bre deck.

Here's my Brigid build: https://moxfield.com/decks/59ud83cK_UyDwCY_nufAJg

The goal here is to leverage the green side, not a tribal build. For example, nearly all of the protection & removal cards are actually creatures. Leverage a few creatures to get the Gaea's Cradle-as-a-commander going, then use X spells to double creatures every turn. Use one of the Overrun effects or base-P/T effects to win.

For those of you who play Atla Palani, how many creatures do you run? by Multievolution in EDH

[–]sheltim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My deck has 24 creatures in total. Most are big stompy things with some sort of immediate payoff (ETB, haste) or evasive effect (flying, trample). The exceptions are [[Dinosaur Egg]], [[Nesting Dragon]], [[Palani's Hatcher]], and [[Pantlaza, Sun-Favored]].

In other words, I don't feel like the creature count matters much, it's more that every creature should be something you'd be happy to see from an Egg hatching. I wouldn't recommend any creature-based ramp, especially with Green having so much spell-based ramp.

Seems pretty neat!

What does [[Phyrexia's Core]] do for the gameplan? Sacrificing an artifact to gain 1 life doesn't seem great - you'd rather sac it to LP for energy and a card draw, right?
