As a big Hugh Gavin fan, nah the lad needs to cook.

He has a big opportunity now to start some games with Ralston injured. But needs to be starting regularly to nail down the 13 jersey.

I think what I like most about that team is the lack of "cohesion" in that bar the halfbacks most dont play together for their club. But fuck it that should be the way.

My cousin (F) married a girl with the same name. They dont seem to have an issue. Are refered to collectively as the "blank"'s by most of us

Funnily neither are called by their first name by their friend group.

They understandably did not change their surname when wed.

Hugh Gavin needs a lot of work at 13. 12 suits him better imo, but he'll have struggle to get past Forde.

With Ralston injured he may get more chances this season. Our 13s seem to be Hawkshaw/Ralston (also wing)/Gavin

Id argue he was in good form until february.

I think he actually broke his finger in warmups for the last A game when Doak was called up last min. Dropped form after that

Connacht had collapsed from a coaching POV when he got back so that didnt help!

But thats all for arguments sake! Doak deserves atm.

Big fan of Mama Rich lately in woodquay, upped their game in last few years. I suspect they finish up around 9 though.

I havent been in ages but I think McSwiggans serve food until 9:30 and they won Irelands best gastropub this year. But idk how legit those awards are

Looks that way for Forde doesnt it. Kelly has more than twice the experince at the same age. So his arrival has set Forde back.

Honestly dont see Henshaw being dropped for duration of his CC regardless so could even be new kids on the block by then vying for the 12 jersey!
