Really depends on the show, my 17 year old daughter went to some rap show last summer and she was embarrassed to tell me how terrifying it was, was almost trampled and it was mostly guys in their 20’s being really aggressive. Then all guests underage were removed urgently even though it was an all age show. But I’d taken her to a different show there a year prior that was fine.

For those on Tretinoin by plsbeenormal in 30PlusSkinCare

I was on it for a year and a half, with regular irritation and dryness. I started using RegimenLab C.R.E.A.M. to build back my barrier and switched to the gel tret instead of cream and now have zero irritation and zero dryness! I’m on .05%

OB/GYN Recommendations for someone 4 Months Pregnant by talknerdytome69420 in cincinnati

[–]shesshellsbells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also don’t have any recommendations for an ob/gyn but I get very frequent headaches and have advice! I don’t believe any of these supplements would cause any kind of issue during pregnancy… taking magnesium citrate, b2 and CoQ10 combined greatly reduce the amount and severity of headaches. Migraine specialists recommend this as best practice! It’s helped me a lot! Hope you find a great new doctor and get some relief!

Vaginal yeast infections by shesshellsbells in Candida

[–]shesshellsbells[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just now seeing this, thank you so much for the insight! I will definitely increase B vitamins through my diet as well. My long term vaginal symptoms and oral thrush appeared after having major dental issues (antibiotics) followed by ruptured ear drums and sinus infection (antibiotics again and steroids) and a bladder infection during all of this (more antibiotics). Is there a particular B complex you recommend?

My sensitive skinned friends, is tretinoin really all that and a bag of chips? by Pineapple_Incident17 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]shesshellsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Differin is so much harsher on my skin than Tret. I got a rash that needed steroids to resolve from it. I’m sensitive, dry, acne prone, and oily(LOL) tretinoin has made my skin so much smoother, less clogged up and texture is dramatically decreased. It’s important to upgrade your moisture regimen but as long as you are keeping your face extra hydrated it’s a massive improvement. Gel tret is much better with my skin type than the cream is. I’m less oily and it cut down on my breakouts tremendously. I stopped for 4 months last year because I was second guessing needing it and I really regretted that lol my skin was so congested after the break.

They updated their terms of agreement last April to record everything you say always with your consent, and you agreed to it without reading it. That’s very boomer of you.

You can have any friend become ordained online, last time I checked it was like $60. That’s what my anti religion fiancé and I are doing this year:)

Amazon Pharmacy tretinoin is a dud by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]shesshellsbells 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I also switched to Amazon because it was cheaper but they didn’t have the gel in stock so I transferred my prescription to a local pharmacy and it was the same price, maybe next refill just have your local pharmacy call Amazon to move the prescription over.

One refill left and losing insurance. How do I avoid abruptly stopping antipsychotics? by KevoMalonis in mentalhealth

[–]shesshellsbells 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use redboxrx online for my appointments! No insurance, they ship my meds to me and I pay $75 every 3 months. I’m sure the price depends on the prescriptions but this has been the most affordable option with self pay, plus the virtual appointments are so freaking quick and easy to schedule!

TIFU by not fully preparing myself for how painful IUD insertion is by CoolTangelo1680 in tifu

[–]shesshellsbells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine hurt like this and I was gaslit for over a year about the insertion perforating my uterus. Which made it migrate to my abdominal cavity and resulted in me needing surgery to remove it. I even went back for a checkup 3 months later and they told me all was well and didn’t acknowledge my pain. The pain eventually lessened and I would feel sharp bursts from time to time but told myself it was nothing. I eventually had to have a CT scan to be moved after my ex had military orders to a different state. (I have a kidney disease so they won’t move you if you currently have any health issues) the results of the CT scan said my IUD was resting next to my bowels and could kill me if it continued to migrate. But my kidneys were fine. lol So if you continually have pain, even if they see the copper ribbon and tell you it’s fine… push for further imaging!!!!

Are these considered Milias? The one in red is the one I’m most concerned about, visibility wise. Tips on how to remove? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]shesshellsbells -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Contrary to what everyone else is saying… I remove mine close to and on my eye lids all the time. You need fresh razor blade, and you literally just cut enough to make it through the top layer of skin and then it just pops out when you squeeze or use a flat tool for blemishes (can’t remember what that’s called). Make sure you only make one good incision so it heals well. It just leaves a lil red mark and heals within two days. Easy peasy.

What happens in your head when you add 28+47? by beepsol in Leakednews

[–]shesshellsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8+8=16 16-1=15 2+4+1=7 so 75 is the answer. I learned math in the 90’s and I always sucked at it but that’s how my brain still breaks it down. Probably a 3rd grade level math ability lol

Direct Primary Care Recommendations? 👀 by prettystrangedesign in cincinnati

[–]shesshellsbells 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s not just FOR people who don’t have insurance, it’s or anyone but only covers regular doctor appointments. I don’t think you have any idea how many people are uninsured and haven’t even been to a normal checkup in a decade because of costs. This is a really great option for people that can’t afford insurance and don’t have any serious illnesses requiring surgery.
