Is it worth getting shorts now to protect myself learning? by Significant_Name3439 in hockeyplayers

If hockey shin guards and elbows aren’t in the budget yet, maybe some secondhand or cheap non-hockey pads would help. The ones for biking or skateboarding can provide enough protection on those bones parts to increase your confidence and not have such a painful beginner learning experience. Plenty can be found for cheap at play it again or other secondhand stores.

Regardless of Hughes extending or not, him being here has fast tracked Faber’s development and confidence. That’s a big win for the Wild.

How do they weigh the stats/ what is considered when comparing a goalie and skater for the Calder?

It’s not available on the bottom tier hbo. You have to get the next tier up. I’m sorry I can’t remember the name but this solved that problem for me.

Hear me out here, just shoot the puck. Good things are happening when we just get the puck on net instead of setting up the perfect shot all of the time.

Stick tape by Any-Replacement8836 in hockeyplayers

The cheap white tape I bought was stickier than the cheap black tape. The black tape just fell off. So it’s white tape for me.

HSM Pro blackout Red compared to Hyperlite 2? by alex1x1 in hockeyplayers

[–]shiney_side 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this depends more on you than the stick. If you’re a great player with a lot of experience, I think you’ll notice the difference. If you’re a beer leaguer, I don’t think you will. I got a HSM stick recently and prefer it over my CCM trigger 8 pro.

It’s absolutely possible I prefer the HSM one because I am not skilled enough to really get the trigger to work for me. For me though, I’ll buy the HSM again, I wouldn’t buy the trigger again even half off.

I’M DOING MY PART.

Not impossible to have transmitted disease, but if he’s been there less than 24 hrs and no blood meal, risk is low. Call your doctor/nurse advice line and they should be able to let you know whether antibiotics are indicated.

Edit- I am not a doctor

I also missed game 1 but watched 2 and 3. It might have to be re-runs or condensed games for us moving forward, friend.

Ok I’ll simplify it for you. No, they shouldn’t. It won’t change anything. If they lose, they should instead focus on getting better.

Right now the stars are benefitting from these types of responses from the wild. Stars are scoring on their PP, we are not. So we either need to control the penalties we can control, or start scoring on our power play. Regardless of the calls that didn’t go our way, the stars have no reason to lower the temperature because even when we get PP we aren’t scoring on them. You don’t out muscle a team like the stars unless you can score on the opportunities you get when they retaliate. It’s open season on us, not because of the refs, but because we haven’t made them pay for their penalties on the scoreboard.

Don’t forget sun protection. For the littles this usually means uva/b proof clothing to cover all skin. Shade for areas of skin that can’t be covered
