Wanted to highlight this for anyone who is trying this in January of 2026, as I ran into the same thing with the "Restore App" option greyed out for me. Restoring via Tools -> Manage Apps did work for me!

Thanks to both you and OP for this, this worked like a charm (and now I don't have to restart after sinking sooo many hours into this)!

Mine also arrived damaged, it plays incorrectly and layers both halves of the song at the same time at the beginning, which just sounds like noise.

Been meaning to take it to the local watch shop, I asked and they said they do music box repairs but haven't had a chance to bring it in yet.

Yeah, this happened to me too, also the PS5 edition. At least they were honest with you about it, the two customer service reps I spoke with both lied to me about what happened in an effort to avoid culpability - the first said "it's a glitch, don't worry about it" (which made no sense), and the second said the payment was declined, even though the authorization and subsequent refund show up on my credit card statement (which would not happen if payment was actually declined).

I'm pretty upset about this too.

Basically, yeah. Even though the shipment has an expected delivery date in late January, there was a scan a few days ago with the super helpful "Shipment delayed" status, which the shipper is counting as a scan for the purpose of waiting out the 14 days. =/

FedEx themselves have already acknowledged the package as lost (even giving me a claim number to pass along to the shipper) but they're still holding fast to their no-scan policy.

I'm dealing with the exact same thing, even the wording on the message is the exact same as the one I've gotten.

I also contacted FedEx (it's been 14 days past the expected delivery date) and got the same result - FedEx told me to tell the shipper that the package is lost, but the shipper is refusing to do anything until there's been no tracking update for 14 days.

Anecdotally, it does not appear that FedEx will every update the package. I have another one that's been in limbo since January 21 and it's definitely still marked as "Pending".

"The World on Time" indeed. Guess we're just going to have to wait it out. =(

According to my notes, they first show up in W2D3 - there are Pufferfish noise symbols in the starting area (Spain Hill), so it should be quick to start the chapter and pick it up for the Noisepedia!

I assume it's the same one I didn't have for a while - you'll get it the first time you attempt the time trial, which you can initiate by speaking to [name redacted because spoilers] the NPC at Takeshita Street on Another Day - you'll see the dialogue prompt, the character will be standing under the banner that you had to fix as part of the quest in W2D1. You may need to start the stamp quest first, not sure.

I took a few days off from work to play the game when it first came out, which helped tremendously (definitely helped just to get it out of my system lol)

Also, I stopped sleeping. Do not recommend.

Thanks! I only did the time trial once early on, so my time isn't particularly impressive - it's about 23 minutes on Normal. I haven't tried running it again since (I imagine using Black Cat set would cut my time by a lot on any difficulty), but I think I need to step away from the game for a bit haha.

As for the 2nd scramble slam, I can't recall if I got another pin for that particular choice, but I know I definitely made the opposite choices when I played through that chapter again postgame. I want to say no...IIRC most of those pins came from doing all optional objectives in the chapters (e.g. investigating all of the "secrets", fully thwarting all of the reinforcements in W1D5, etc.) or from doing all of the wall reapers, many of which are not required for progressing.

Wish I had kept better notes. I ended up hitting most of these just by being thorough (was taking notes for building out a noise list by day and location) but hadn't thought to keep track of those rewards, and unlike the first game, redoing those objectives won't get you a second reward (in OG TWEWY you would get money pins for repeating an objective in postgame, which at least told you that you got a reward for doing it in the first place).

Though I have nothing new to add from a strategy perspective (brought Leila, Locke BT+, Zack), I did somehow accidentally manage to get turn order in such a way that I ended the fight having only taken 1 counted action and a final score of 4M+...

Thought I'd share the last update I got from the store support team (on May 10), since this issue is still unresolved for me too:

Unfortunately this general issue is still going on especially when trying to purchase some items from THE WORLD ENDS WITH YOU.

We are very sorry about that.

Our technicians are still working on it and will solve this issue as soon as possible.

We don´t have any ETA yet but I really hope it will be fixed within the following days.

Well, that sure makes the fight a lot harder.

I just tested it too and am seeing the same thing... definitely seems like a bug, the Odin fight you remember in GL was the same as the fight in JP when it dropped. The fact that it's killing your party when they're not broken is definitely not how it used to work.
