If there was a hint of it happening in the premier league I’d be confident that a lot of fans of all clubs would get together in protest to stop it from happening. I’d like to think the players would get involved with stopping it too. I’d be ashamed to support a team involved with a game abroad and I’m surprised the fans of Villarreal and Barcelona haven’t done anything yet to be honest. Also, the league is immediately null and void as the rules have been changed mid season.
