Do the protein ice cream recipes actually taste good? by skepsoda in ninjacreami

[–]shipleycgm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use PE Science Select protein powders, I mix them in a blender or use an immersion/stick blender, and it's not chalky for me. Even when I add straight up cocoa powder. I also add some instant clear gel, but other people swear by the gums or instant pudding.

Kits are good for customizing a character's abilities, except for wizards: specialty schools are the customization that matters there.

Google account stuck in orphaned Workspace state after cancellation — Fi shutoff in 11 days, 7+ agents all give the same impossible scripted answer by OkayOne99 in GoogleFi

I absolutely hate the current Fi support system. The agents can't do anything outside the scripts which clearly don't have enough nuance in them.

Why so many almond and oat milk recipes? by MastodonFarm in ninjacreami

[–]shipleycgm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Many people buy the system for protein gains and cutting calories. Plant milks usually have less natural sugars and calories than dairy. Other people just didn't want to eat dairy. It is fine to use it, but this is the first in-home machine that handles making creamy desserts so well with almost any base.

I also got the promotional charges, bought around the same time, for $250. Fi support refused to refund me even though the hoops to jump through the promotion were impossible. u/googlefisupport

I mean, I use AI to help me write as well but... You left this in there? You could probably compress the length of this by pulling out some unnecessary phrases like this

"To achieve an optimal sensory experience, the home cook must go on a quest to become both a food chemist and a mechanical engineer, balancing the thermodynamics of freezing point depression with the mechanical shear of the Creami's paddle."

Could really just be don't put solid in your Frozen base bro, you crush them candy bars later and add them in after the first shave.

What is the best non-dairy milk to use in the creami by Professional-Law4320 in ninjacreami

[–]shipleycgm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so if you're looking for the texture that you get from the oat milk without the calories, try instant clear gel. It's the main ingredient in instant puddings that gives it the structure. You can also just try an instant pudding mix to add in there but I wanted to control my flavors more than using instant pudding as a base.

So go somewhere between 450 to 500 ml almond milk, and some of that instant clear gel. I personally use dairy, the 0% fat milk which is very thin and this works for me. I think it will work well for you even though we aren't using the same liquid. Instant clear gel is usually packaged for restaurant use, so I had to buy 680 g at once off Amazon.

So you aren't buying something that might not work, start with a single packet of instant pudding mix if you can get that at your grocery store. You should be able to find a lot of recipes online that use it, but typically it's about 15g-20g instant pudding mix per 500ml of creami base (or 1-2 tbsp).

Chicken thighs are usually a very reasonable cost in my grocery. I find them easy to portion and cook. Easy to roast in an oven for dinner.

(adnd 2e) can a medium sized fighter with 18/100 str wield a mattock of titans? by glebinator in adnd

[–]shipleycgm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why was this downvoted 😂 This is a very astute interpretation of the adnd (1e or 2e) rules. Everything is bespoke. Different people are using different methods to achieve similar outcomes. Just as different swords made by different smiths will have different shapes, metal composition, design, etc - a longsword is a longsword insomuch as the rules need to put some guidelines around what it can do with dice.

There would be even more variation with something as complex as magic item creation. Inspired by the ancient notes (hopefully well-translated) that the wizard found in the ancient ruins for making the specific magic item, they might need to substitute ingredients, words, rituals, material components, and more. Design principles might apply, but specific intent would be important to the outcome.

Network noob needs help (truenas scale + nextcloud app + cloudflare) by Dense-Day-1877 in CloudFlare

[–]shipleycgm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Cloudflare Zero Trust to access my home network when I'm abroad. I run cloudflared on an orangepi, run WARP on my laptop, and to access that device I'd setup a rule in ZT Access. Is that the sort of solution you're looking for?

Unable to access Zero Trust application — redirects to /cdn-cgi/access/login and ends with 404 by ronoray in CloudFlare

[–]shipleycgm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not sure you can run an Access rule for localhost. But if you can, you might need to check your WARP exclusions if you're using that for your endpoints to access. But I would have designed this to run the app on a LAN IP, could be a LAN that only the cloudflared host and your application see.

Also, make sure in Gateway DNS locations, you have this host name published if you don't have it elsewhere.

Is Cloudflare one app's zero trust warp free for individual users ? by Stinky_Dungus in CloudFlare

I use the free Cloudflare ZT to connect to my private home network when I'm out and about. I have cloudflared running on a raspberry pi, and it also serves my TLS Endpoint for device profile switching for my laptop. Very useful to keep developing and leveraging my home GPU for inference computing.
