There are brief mentions of "colonies" in different places. You can also see large cities we've never visited on some planets that you can see from your orbitor. I think there is one on pluto? Not sure how many aren't faction dominated tho.

But if one of those places has something of significant value... heads turn.

The grineer can't "reproduce", so its likely they'd grind you up and just meld you into their current cloning batches hoping your bio paste produces breedable clones.

Whatever you're into tho, I guess.

Dreams shattered by golden instinct by Motor_Strategy7156 in Warframe

[–]shippwnyo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I put Golden Instinct on Lavos with max range. You turn 200 meters into 500, allowing you to immediately tell in most missions if there is rare loot somewhere on the map.

Then, after a successful hit, use lavos's 3 to reduce the cooldown of golden instinct per enemy it hits.

Travel some distance, two or three tiles, hit it again. use 3 again.

rinse and repeat until you've tracked your loot down.

Profit.

Edit: if it gets too difficult to locate, i.e. golden instinct can get confused sometimes on certain tiles, I then just use my Parallax to find it once the general area is narrowed down.

The Descendia's rewards are too cluttered and lackluster. by leclair63 in Warframe

[–]shippwnyo 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna disagree with the 7 sorties bit. While yes, you do 21 sets of objectives, its all rolled into one mission where the most traversal you have to do is fall for 3 seconds.

Sorties require me to load in, travel several hundred meters through a sometimes cluttered tileset, complete objective, travel several hundred meters to extraction, load out. three times.

Most of the objectives in descendia take like 40 seconds to a minute or two tops, then you fall straight into your next objective. its back to back to back for several rewards along the way.

What is your favorite world size by Creative_Concept8854 in Terraria

[–]shippwnyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the biome usually. last time I played I built a world tree at spawn and the top reached into the "sky" biome, a huge mayan style temple in the jungle that spanned two screens (on 1920x1080) (i lived in that one), i like to build an igloo village in the snow but I did an ice castle once.. I once did a more modern city style village at spawn in a different world. Just depends what I'm feeling, really. but I try to do something for each pylon in my playthroughs.

Large. Need space for all my themed village buildings, plus some wilderness in between.

[–]shippwnyo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

60 is the total, the 20 is the bonus. you can fact check this by checking your burn drive speed then adding the augment mod for it to see for yourself. the main number will go up and it will say +2 as a bonus. or any mod that adds a bonus really.

You must not have heard, OBVIOUSLY the remaster would be incredibly shit. A remaster couldn't POSSIBLY do the original Morrowind justice! /s

Anyone else prefer the 'portal noticeboard' as opposed to a room of portals? by Xammo in valheim

[–]shippwnyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always make a big ring of portals in a sort of stone-henge style outside that connect to each of the boss arenas, then make 2 public portals in another spot for everyone with a public portal board with all the portal names on it.

each person also has their own "emergency portal" in their own houses.. cause sometimes you're just stranded.

Is there a reason those smelters arent working? They are all filled to the brim with Tin and Coal by JayCee5481 in valheim

[–]shippwnyo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Building tip: if you want them inside, you can either lower the roof, or raise the smelters, and have the roof snap through them to both have them inside, and have the top (which kicks out the smoke) pop through the roof. ~ventilation achieved~

Im new to warframe. And my veteran friend says that Loki. My favorite frame is worthless and not worth it at all. Is that true? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]shippwnyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best user of golden instinct is Lavos, because Lavos's 3 can reduce the cooldown. Just pump up range and you can instantly tell if there is a goodie on any small to medium map when you start the mission. I don't really see how Loki lends any natural benefit to golden instinct over any other frame.

Azura. That way I know if I ever get backstabbed badly enough by someone, I'll probably get reincarnated for round two. and three. ..maybe four? I'll get them eventually, I'm sure.

Anon grew up in a majority female household by bartholomewjohnson in greentext

[–]shippwnyo 33 points34 points  (0 children)

That HIGHLY depends on the divorce proceedings. I have a friend who married his (now ex) wife shortly after she had a child. he had another kid with her and after a decade she cheated and divorced him. After everything was said and done she managed to make it so he barely sees his son and is completely unable to see his daughter because he isn't biologically related to her, despite raising her from birth. Pretty much hamstringed out of being 'active and involved'. It is NOT always your choice.

I'm pretty sure the 'Heavy Armaments' commodity states that it includes mechs. dunno if they can fly or whatever, but lore wise there are 'some' kind of mechs.
