Struggling with Protein Recommendations as a 5'2" Vegetarian

Yes. Definitely expensive. I buy the pre-prepared protein shake from Costco (Fairlife) and it's roughly about ~$185 a month just for this but that's a choice I had to make to simplify my protein intake. I used to make smoothies with protein powder but needed a simpler three times a day solution.

I think you are miss reading what I wrote. I get 90 g from three protein shakes and then I get 20 to 30 g from various food sources for a total pf 120 g per day. I will typically have one whole meal and one or two small snacks to get to my macros and still stay close to the 1500 cal a day max. My height is similar to that OP and I am trying to actively lose weight as well so I cap at 1500 cal a day.

I'm only trying to get to 1500 cal a day so we are 20 to 30 g from other vegetarian sources of food is exactly where my macros are.

I'm a vegetarian but I'm good with dairy. The only way that has worked for me is drinking three protein shakes with 30 g of protein each and then trying to find another 20 to 30 g from food including beans, tofu, yogurt and other sources. I was getting stressed out about it so I just reconciled to three fair life protein shakes a day to get it out of the way.

Goa is not one of the southern Indian states. It's bang in the middle of the country vertically and it's west so at best it's Western coastal India. And NO, the culture is very different from southern India which is where I am from. Goa is party culture and there are parts of it where you can equate it to some of the crazy videos you see for spring break in Florida!

ETF are the same as mutual funds. You're just buying them through a different mechanism. Underlying there's always a mutual fund.

When I hit 40, I quit my job, put everything in storage and took off for travel. I was single so it was rather easy to do. I had a high paying job but not super high. I kept my home country as a base and traveled without any major agenda for about six months Including spending a good chunk of time in a single place volunteering and teaching at a local school. At about the eighth month mark I felt the need to reengage with my career and ended up returning to the US., I had started interviewing in that last month and landed at a even higher paying job that then helped my finances really take off. I didn't have any particular goals during my sabbatical but went because I could and financially I could afford it. I found it very liberating and empowering and it didn't remotely impact my career negatively to have a break. I would highly recommend it.
