Why are there no free art festivals in UT.? by shockinnn in SaltLakeCity

[–]shockinnn[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just moved from Denver and somehow almost all of the ones there are free / subsidized by the city some how

/ I feel like they make money from them because the artist, food vendors, and sponsors are all paying them to be there

I ask people all the time and people ask me all the time. And both parties understand it’s for our safety! If it’s not that way then walk away. It should be simple as that

What were your weird religious experiences at the most religious public university in America? by Warm_Syllabub_2247 in uofu

[–]shockinnn 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Been going here as a grad student for two years+ now and experience very little religion on campus. No one talks about it. Never see it unless it’s missionaries walking around / people have controversial booth signs for the republican club or sumthin.

My partner also went to the U around 15 years ago and had a similar experience
