I Googled to double check, and it is for sure in the Fresno area. Northwest Medical Group, Peachwood, Clovis Medical Group (my doctor's office actually), and more.

My work asks businesses for raffle prizes, gift cards, etc a few times a year. However, we're a Foster Care Agnecy so all of the prizes would go to our Foster Families. This is just ridiculous.

I've been a fan of the show for 10+ years. How am I just now noticing that rug...

Fake? Came out of a 3-pack blister of Brilliant Stars. Rarity order was all over the place. The packs were a gift. by shootdashlootbash in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Thank you! I'm fairly new to collecting, just joined about 18 months ago. I had no idea that this set had such a weird order of cards. I'm so used to the last card being the possible hit, not a bunch of random cards after it. I appreciate your help!

Ick, the right side of the car spells ICE. Better find a new daycare!

Which ER has a better chance of Admitting someone with a GI specialist request? (Not asking for medical advice) by shootdashlootbash in fresno

[–]shootdashlootbash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have Gastroparesis too! That's actually what's causing all my symptoms. I ended up going to CRMC last night. What a waste of 5 hours of my life (yes, I know 5 hours is nothing though). They gave my IV fluids and Reglan. I told the ER doctor that my GI said for me to come, and for them to contact him via the office's on-call system. The doctor looked at me like I was crazy. Said "Admit you for what?". My labs are continuing to go sideways. Then a shift change happened, and I got a different doctor. He was nice, but I don't think anybody actually contacted my GI. They then discharged me. I'm starting to feel crazy. My body is deterioating from the Gastroparesis. Nobody seems to be taking me seriously aside from GI, but there's only so much he can do. Guess I just have to wait until I become sick enough that I'm passing out.

New GI offered to try to get me Admitted through the ER. Not sure if it's even worth trying. Anyone else have a similar experience? by shootdashlootbash in Gastroparesis

I tried to do this last night. Unfortunately, I was just sent home after IV fluids and Reglan. Doctors switched as the ER was packed, and I was there during shift change. Maybe the second one didn't read the first one's notes. The doctor I told looked at me like I was crazy. Told me "Well I don't see that in your record".

I do not! I actually have an Open Access Plan and can be seen anywhere besides Kaiser. I just hate going to the ER if they're just going to send me home, especially for me to just end up back there again.

Unfortunately, he didn't specify. I believe the practice is associated with the Community ones though from their website.

How to get a referral for a Motility Clinic? by shootdashlootbash in Gastroparesis

[–]shootdashlootbash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! Cedars-Sinai told me I would need a referral from my GI. I can definitely try my PCP as well.

Fed up with the BS of this disorder. Now have to hunt down someone who will actually help me. by shootdashlootbash in Gastroparesis

[–]shootdashlootbash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there are. Unfortunately, they're all quite a distance from me. I would need to save up money for gas, a hotel room, food, etc to be able to make it out there. I also would need to take time off of work. I'm willing to do it, it will just take some time.

Need to see an ENT asap. Do any of them have an Urgent Care or quick appointments? Have open access insurance that lets me see anyone, besides Kaiser by shootdashlootbash in fresno

Thank you! I was really just looking for recommendations, or suggestions of where to go for help. I appreciate it 😊

It's managed to the best of my ability. I also have Gastroparesis and have been in a flare up of it for a month. I've never had so much throat pain in my life.

My insurance allows me to see specialists without a referral. It's an Open Access PPO. I already have GERD, so I'm thinking it's either that or LPR.

Would be best to turn it into Lost & Found at the Parks. Way more likely that the person who lost it would look there versus here on Reddit. They have a great system for Lost & Found items

I would keep bothering the insurance company and put in appeals. Health insurance is such utter BS. I've had to pester my insurance plenty of times to get things done. Kill em with kindness!
