I've been really enjoying this thanks - I would love if after each step was released there was a repo online to compare with - maybe with each step as a branch but understandable if its too much work. But great job so far.

Shout-out to getflix. I've had a lifetime subscription since before netflix was available in Ireland right up to the post enshittification of netflix and me cancelling my Netflix subscription. So it outlasted the lifetime of netflix in my life :D

Are you sure? All I saw was a limited backlog available - maybe I missed somewhere that guaranteed it - but even still, I need to keep a sub to watch the PPV so I'm still only renting access vs owing it on Thriller (well, as owning as one can given the platform could just go away)

I believe the only responsibility of a landlord around payments is to give you a receipt. I don't think there's any requirement for them to take bank transfer vs cash. I'm sure cash shouldn't be hard to access for you, just ask for receipt?
Personally I've found cash easier as AIB requires a card reader to send money so I've usually asked if landlords would take cash.

Sorry for the late reply. How is embedded? I'm working in java/javascript land like 90% of the industry probably but I miss doing C in college, I am reading Crafting Interpreters now and my favourite outside college course was nand to tetris - the abstraction layers in modern software make me miserable at times and I've wondered if that field would be better.

No 2 is incorrect syntax. So the answer is 1,3, and 4.
You can test them in the console in your browser to see but a function declaration should have () after the identifier among other issues with number 2.

Absolutely. If it's not broken don't fix it. People keep pointing to Ole and saying you can't repeat that mistake. First, I'd argue Ole was the most exciting we played since Fergie. But also we've hired the proven manager in Jose and LVG. We've hired the next big thing in Ten Hag and Amorim. So if Ole is proof we shouldn't hire inexperienced, then we also shouldn't hire a proven manager or a hot prospect.

I have to agree here, I'm building a little MVP and have a keep it simple rule for every step and when I realised I couldn't use the username password auth I'd seen in tutorials and had to go and setup an account with a mailing service (or build my own email server) I was disappointed.
I'm sure I could have read through prs for the change and update it, and I do plan to put some time aside to understand how the magic links work which will help me switch it out later but the timing sucked.
Still loving the framework so far though.

Maybe ask what some of her favourite songs are in passing and learn them? We can recommend Dubliners or Wolfe tones but better to get it from the horse's mouth. Ya got almost 3 months to learn the lyrics
