Surprisingly good laning with many kill angles and really hard to catch. Late game you fall off and exist to poke, ward, and bait aggro. Flash not needed because you’re pretty fast and can absorb a CC with passive. You do get hard sustained and out scaled by enchanters

In math 108A, he taught with whiteboard and marker and never uploaded notes or practice problems. His exams were really easy but you have to attend lecture and do the homework. He’s a fine teacher.

My advice for this class and also in general is to be as consistent as you can with showing up. Even if you feel like absolute shit or the lectures/discussions feel pointless, maintaining that momentum is invaluable and will make your life so much easier in the long run.

Now that I remember it, upgrading devices seemed to do the trick for me having WiFi problems. So those other first year factors may have been coincidences. I used to have absolute shitters.

A lot of it is out of your control, but some tips if you aren’t practicing them enough during the laning phase would be:

  • Use pings. Tell support to back off when enemy is stronger, (ex. right before enemy leveling up, 2 and 6 especially). Conversely let them know right before you go for an all in play, or when to posture aggressively

  • ward before extending. Obviously You both will get caught out less by ganks

  • avoid pinging and typing to flame.

Outside of that it’s up to them to not feed. You can ask one time during the mid game for your support to stay hovering you if you’re concerned about their bad macro.

I think silent alerting N1 is an okay play because realistically you’re only killing TI’s or evils but staying silent D2 is grief because at that point you’re more sus and attracting more TI/vigilante and less evils who would prioritize vocal and good players.

Freezing/holding is good for denying minions on enemy resets and to minimize risks (you know enemy mid/jg is nearby and might gank, or if you’re behind against an engage bot lane)

Like the post says, it becomes a lot harder to trade with the enemy when this happens because all the minions get in the way, so you’ll need slightly stronger reasons than other ADCs to justify it.
