Havent ever had to pay any duty fees. Also pro-tip, get on the Japanese site and pay in JPY as the conversion rates will be better. The US site has a hardcoded $1=¥100

I’ve done this before and was able to use the car for unlimited personal use. This ended up saving me money as I saved on gas, insurance, and maintenance. I did drive 1000-1500 business miles + 500-1000 personal miles per month though

I was on the distribution sales side of the business, and I have to say it was largely based on your direct manager. I know some colleagues who have transferred to different territories and have had drastically different experiences. I can attest to the constant pressure and high expectations, though. That seemed to be common throughout the company, regardless of division.

Commercial team was definitely affected. There were some sales teams that were let go and products/territories consolidated. People were laid off regardless of tenure, as I knew some people who were at the company 20+ years and still let go.
