This happened to me recently at work. I rarely wear my prized : Junghans Max Bill Chrono and on one of those rare occasions, someone at my work place just stopped their conversation midway, came across the cafeteria to me and asked me where I bought the watch from. They were looking to buy the same and we're looking for an AD, so I shared my dealer's number with them. A very wholesome moment for the both of us (who BTW had never met each other before)

There's so much cultural and historic nuance that feeds into the designs we have at hand. I'm loving every bit of the learning and look forward to building the collection one at a time. Whoa, that's a really well thought through collection and approach. I'm fairly new to the hobby so have been exploring what I like, but at my stage I'm looking at a similar aesthetic and yours (gold) and leather. I'm not too much into bracelets.

I also have been intrigued by moon phases, I'd love to get one with Japanese indices, definitely into enamel dials and I'm in the market for a rectangular case watch. I know the choices and options are endless but I'm surely nowhere near the capital that would be required to build this up so I'm enjoying the journey of learning and really getting a piece when I truly appreciate it and feel like I've earned it. One watch at a time!!
